The skylights were lovely in our room and the beds were really comfortable! We were met at the door and the place was spotless - really enjoyed our time there - thank you!

Anne is a super great host, a beautiful house with a remarkable view to Isle of Skye! Host was very thoughtful, provided a clean room with all the amenities required for a peaceful sleep. The breakfast was amazing, really loved the experience!

Rhoda made me feel right at home and comfortable. Her kindness and infectious personality made the stay even better. I was in room #1 and the bed is deliciously comfortable… the breakfast she lays out in the mornings (which greets you as you descend the stairs) is even more delicious with fresh fruit, meats, cheeses, croissants and porridge - all ready with coffee, tea, orange juice and water. There is a lot to do within walking distance as I did not have a car and the bus stop is conveniently located only 2 minutes away… Thank you Rhoda for making the smallest of moments for you a lifetime memory for me :)

We had a great stay with Alastair and Sarah. The location is great, within a few minute's walk of the shops and restaurants. The room was cozy, Sarah was super friendly and helpful, and breakfast was great! This is a great place to stay if you are traveling near Braemar.

Easy to find in a beautiful location. Very cosy room perfect for our family of 3. Joan & her Husband were so friendly and they cooked us the most amazing breakfast. Thank you for being lovely hosts, we will hopefully be back 😊

A peaceful stay in the heart of Bricksworth I had the great pleasure of staying with Ruth at her charming cottage in the village of Brixworth. The location itself is wonderfully quiet and picturesque – the sort of place where time seems to slow down. The cottage was immaculately kept, beautifully decorated, and perfectly suited for a couple. Every detail had clearly been thought through with great care. What truly set this stay apart, however, was Ruth herself. She was an exceptionally generous and thoughtful host. Each morning, she laid out a beautiful breakfast for us – a gesture that felt both gracious and personal. More than just a host, Ruth was warm, welcoming, and delightful company. Spending time with her felt like catching up with an old friend. I cannot express enough how much I enjoyed my time here. It was restorative in every sense, and I very much hope to return one day.

Helen & Rick are exceptional hosts and their home is very welcoming and extremely clean. After some devastating news from home and having to leave quickly, Helen & Rick was right there making sure I was safe to drive. Rick cleaned the front of my car and windscreen making sure it was clear for my 3hr journey, Helen gave me some Holistic Therapy which worked amazingly, making sure I got home safely to my family, who needed me to ❤️ Thank you once again you Beautiful Human Beings ❤️

Jackie's place is not far from the ferry port and train station, just a few minutes by taxi. The bed is comfortable. Jackie is very friendly and helpful. She had a nice variety of items for breakfast. I did not use the shower but the bathroom was very clean. One thing to note is that these types of houses have narrow stairs which might be tricky for those with mobility issues. I enjoyed my stay and wish I had had more time to visit.

Susie is a fantastic host and so welcoming. We had the most wonderful stay after a long drive north. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. Breakfast was a banquet. Check out Gasta at the bottom of the road for delicious pizza too. A wonderful stay and we will be back!

Spent a lovely 4 nights in order to celebrate our honeymoon. Our room was spotless and we appreciated having the use of our own breakfast/living area. The location and the accommodation were absolutely idyllic.

Had a lovely stay at Mark’s. He was very accommodating and allowed us to secure our bikes in the shed overnight. A wonderful place to stay and very tasty breakfast. The location is perfect, right by the river and a few moments walk from the centre of Bakewell, yet tucked away out of the crowds. Mark is a great host and the two dogs made us feel right at home. Highly recommended.

A really beautiful hideaway in a perfect spot. The accomodation was fantastic: pristine, private, peaceful, comfy bed and lovely bathroom. Lovely to wake up and listen to the church bells in the distance on Sunday morning. The breakfast delivered to the room was also perfect. Rachel and her husband were so welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend.

Beverley and her husband Ian was so friendly and welcoming. The room was perfectly clean and exactly what I needed. They made me feel right at home, letting me freely use their kitchen and bathroom. She even let me help out in their beautiful garden! The house is right next to the station and only 10 minutes walk to Totnes main street. Perfect location for me to explore Totnes and surrounding areas. They were so accommodating as they let me store my luggage on the day of checkout as there were no-one else booked in that day. I would highly recommend this to anyone thinking of staying in Totnes!

This little oasis is the perfect place. Georgie and co make you feel so welcome, and you get the joy of meeting Pumpkin and Pepper the cat. The walks around are stunning, but with the views from the hammocks you struggle to get out for the walks at times. Beyond peaceful and with beautiful towns near by. I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in the area.

Beautifully decorated cottage, which was immaculately clean on arrival. We’d been left groceries including local bread, milk, butter, eggs and a chocolate bunny as it was Easter, which was really thoughtful. The beds were made ready and there were plenty of towels. Lots of thoughtful extras including coffee, a cafetière, toiletries, also laundry and dishwasher tablets were included. The cottage is in a lovely location, just outside the village and surrounded by countryside. We had a peaceful and relaxing stay. Niall was very friendly and communicated well about check-in.

Saltwater chronicles is an outstanding property . Everything you need is provided. The house is beautiful, private and has stunning views. The bedrooms are beautifully designed, beds are comfortable and each room has its own bathroom. The estate has lovely walks and the coastal walks are stunning. Great service and communication from the team at Dunskey. I would highly recommend

Thank you Clare for our lovely stay. We had 2 children that loved the pool in the sunshine. Kitchen had everything we needed as did the rest of the property. A lovely tranquil stay just what we needed! The only concern for other holiday makers would be the steps upto the mezzanine level. Was absolutely fine for us but if you are little unsteady or have younger kits it may be an item of concern. Our 11 and 9 year olds loved it. Thanks again Clare, lovely property in a great location. Perfect!!!

Wow! From start to finish Maria and Frank were so welcoming, helpful, generous with their time, thoughful, lovely. Their house is right next to the station and with easy access to everything you might want to see or do. Lots of snacks and breakfast items were provided too. The room was spacious and very comfortable, again with all you may need. Communication with Maria is made easy by phone, which is always useful. It really felt like a 'home from home'. I can't thank them enough for all the helpful information they give, to make your stay relaxed and fulfilled.

Valarie has a very nice place in the upper NW of Scotland that is well worth staying. It is convenient to get to and she makes a wonderful breakfast. The place is super clean and Valarie is an excellent host. I strongly recommend The View to stay. And yes, the view is very nice.

A beautiful cosy hut, perfect for a one night stop. Wonderfully warm welcome from Alison. Everything was set up for our baby too, including an extra adult size breakfast for him which was a lovely surprise! Spotless all round and very functional space with literally everything we needed including nappy bags and a clothes horse! Highly recommended, we'd definitely stay again 😊
