Family-friendly holiday rentals in Ulmen

Staying with Ingrid and Helmut was a great experience! Everything is laid out perfectly for each guest, there are common kitchen items that have been re-stocked before the visit, local literature and guides are thoughtfully provided, the garden is very relaxing to sit in and local wine is available right from the room. It's hard to overstate how high above the bar the hosts are in professionalism, friendliness and attention to detail. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone traveling through the area.

Very nice house with a great thought-out concept. The music concept and lighting were particularly great. There was a slight background noise from the industrial area, but this can be excluded through the windows. The furnishings and equipment are top-notch. Direct contact with the landlord was always possible via the platform. Thank you for the wonderful experiences, especially through laughter, singing and dancing.

The cottage is fully equipped. It is located in an incredibly soothing environment with beautiful views over the valley. Yet, it is close to a city, such as Trier, so that there is something nearby for everyone. We have relaxed in the beautiful cottage, with the sauna and jacuzzi at our disposal. The cinema was definitely a nice addition too!

We felt very comfortable right away, of course the really warm welcome from the hosts contributed to this. We would love to come back!

We had great stay. Enjoyed the surroundings and the beautiful walk to the suspension bridge. Place is beautiful, with great views.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Hans-Harald has made a huge effort to provide modern facilities without altering the original character of the 15th century castle. Book the apartment for a truly unique experience in fairy tale castle. And no less important: Hans-Harald is a gracious host with great references on restaurants, wine tasting and local attractions.

The listing's location is incredible. It is located on the top of a hill, in a very quiet street surrounded by fields and forests. In the garden you can relax completely and enjoy in the hammock or under the umbrella. It is a 10-minute drive to the center of Trier, so it is a good base to discover the region. The accommodation was also very clean and well equipped. Hildegard is very helpful and gave us instructions well in advance how to drive to the accommodation by car. Upon arrival, we immediately felt at home due to her warm welcome and kindness. This was our first trip with our 6-month-old son and immediately a very nice experience!

Marie-Louise is an incredibly friendly person with an idyllically located house (bison in front of the window included). The kitchen is well equipped, we have rarely experienced this. It is beautifully quiet and also our daughter loved the surroundings, which invites you to hike. Children's equipment such as high chair and bed are also available. The nearby playground should also be mentioned. Bad Münstereifel is about 10 minutes by car, where you can find shops for shopping or restaurant. There is also a small garden or courtyard. We will be happy to come back.

This was a wonderful place in a good neighborhood. It was even bigger and nicer than expected based on the photos. It was very clean and a great space to spend the weekend! Would definitely go back for my next trip there!

Like last year, we spent a very nice week in the apartment. The view is idyllic and the surroundings very quiet. Hosts are very kind and discreet. The apartment is super comfortable : everything is perfect ! We recommend the apartment Adele.

We had a really great stay at Annette's place. The host was friendly, and the apartment felt even bigger than on the photo's. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped, and the nature around the house is really nice. The check-in was very simple, and there was a binder with suggested activities in the area. All in all, I would highly recommend!

We had a great weekend with 12 adults + kids and dog. Both the many, cozy rooms with great beds, sparkling clean bathrooms, but especially the common area with perfectly equipped kitchens, sitting areas and the huge table were ideal for us. It was perfect for both young and old and from booking to departure, everything was always impeccable and the hosts/ladies were always immediately available. Absolutely recommended! The Geierlay Bridge is within walking distance and ideal for a short walk/ or a hike. We are already planning to come back:D

We stayed with a group of 6 adults and 5 small children between 6 months and 4 years and felt super comfortable. There was everything you need for the kids: high chairs, crib, night lights, stair gates, stools, potters, children's dishes and really lots of toys inside and outside. There's really nothing missing. The kitchen was also well equipped. The pool was a highlight. At least one day it was warm enough to jump in. For the summer, that's certainly great. Degi was also totally friendly and easy to reach. Existing deficiencies in the play equipment were resolved immediately. We felt really comfortable and will definitely be back.

We loved our stay in Nideggen with Ursula incredibly. The location is perfect to discover the Eifel National Park and visit cities like Bonn or Aachen. In warm weather you can enjoy a blissful swimming pool in a beautiful lively garden overlooking the castle of Nideggen. As if that wasn't enough, Ursula spoiled us even more with great perks and tips. We will never forget this stay!

A fantastically idyllic place! My son and I had a wonderful time at Hjerke's at the Heidberghof. The apartment is exactly as described in the listing and very cozy! You feel right at home. Hjerke is an incredibly warm host. Thank you for everything and we will be back for sure!!!
