The Eagle will welcome you from 01 September 2025! 2 years of planning and almost 3 years of construction time were needed to make the 18th century Gasthof Adler fly again. The extensive gilding cure included a core renovation of the entire building, a complete annex on the east side as well as an extension around a living floor. On the 1st floor, 2nd floor and 3rd floor, the golden eagle invites you to stay above the historic rooftops of Markdorf.

Our romantic double rooms are located in our historic main building with a view of the old town, as well as in the quieter rear part of the main building or in the modernized annex. There's room for all the clothes you bring to a wardrobe or closet. The sink with hairdryer is located in the room, shower and toilet are located separately from the room. The temperature in both rooms is regulated separately. The rooms have a TV.

Room 3

Room 3 with stepless interior is located in Reichenau and is perfect for an unforgettable vacation with your loved ones. The 25 m² accommodation consists of a bedroom and a bathroom and therefore offers space for 3 people. Facilities also include Wi-Fi, a TV and a fan. Please note that the room does not have its own kitchen. However, there is a separate, spacious communal kitchen next to the breakfast room.

Simple single room in the listed building

Simple but charming accommodation in a village setting. First floor and 2nd floor with a total of 4 rooms that are rented individually. Suitable for cyclists. The kitchen can be shared on request and for a fee of €5 per day, with careful treatment and consideration for the other guests. The price is for the room if the bedding is removed by the guest himself.

The standard rooms are usually located to the pedestrian zone or to the courtyard of the Hotel Ochsen. This is the former "Büezerhaus" (workers' house) of the last Swiss nail factory next door. It's over 140 years old, has some wrinkles, but our friends and guests love it. We don't have any neighbors, it's the only house in the commercial zone. You can walk to the S-Bahn station in 2 minutes, by bike in 5 minutes in the old town.
