The spacious, cozy cottage had everything we needed. Beautiful garden, lovely terrace. The location is great, you can be at the beach within 2 minutes. The ocean invites you to swim. Vejby is a good starting point for exploring the region, such as Copenhagen, Helsingør, Heather Hill and Nakkehoved lighthouse. Communication with Malthe went well, he's distinctly, responds quickly, and thinks along.

In advance: It was one of our most beautiful vacations. Rarely have we all been sad that time passed so quickly. A wonderfully located cottage surrounded by absolute peace. There was something for all of us, 2 adults, 2 children, 1 dog. Swimming in the lake, canoeing, hiking in forest, looking for mushrooms, fishing,... The fishing card for the lake is within walking distance, on the way you will also pass by the swimming spot with jetty. In the house you can actually find everything you could ever need. And if you have any questions, Ingvild can be reached quickly. For us it is certain - when it goes back to Sweden, this house is our first choice.

The surroundings are super nice (close to the beach). We found the large property very good, you could relax really well in the garden, enjoy the peace and the sun. Long walks along the coast were wonderful! Everything was good, thanks for everything.

Super friendly host and a great house!

We were two families with a total of 5 children from 7-15 years as well as grandmother and grandfather who spent an absolutely wonderful week in this amazing house. The kids were especially happy for the pool and trampoline. And it was only 20 minutes to walk down to a nice sand beach. The house has very nice decor and is very well equipped. In addition, Lisa and Rolf are super nice and generous hosts. We felt very welcome. We can highly recommend a visit here.

We had a great few days in Malou’s house. The location is perfect for a quiet holiday with family, close to local amenities, shops and restaurants. Malou really went the extra mile to ensure we are fully informed of what to do and where to go in the area, as well as ensured we felt right at home by making everything in the house they also use available to us. Thank you Malou, we will definitely stay in your house again when we return to Hornbaek.

We spontaneously stayed with Markus and were infinitely grateful that he welcomed us at such short notice. We love his house and have been visiting it again and again for a few years. We particularly appreciate the secluded location and the forest all around. The place invites you to retreat perfectly, with its own sauna and two lovingly designed houses. In the smaller cottage, the two older children sleep, and I find a quiet place to work there. The larger house offers a spacious living area, a dining room, a kitchen, two bathrooms as well as two more bedrooms on the upper floor and an additional bathroom. It is an Airbnb where the landlord takes care of the maintenance with dedication and is always careful to make the stay as comfortable as possible. We have closed this place in our heart. Thank you, Markus, for your hospitality and your wonderful house that feels like a little home to us on our travels.
