The cabin can be reached via a path of approximately 1 km with a 150-metre change in altitude. The hike is steep and takes 15–30 minutes; light luggage is recommended. Best suited for 2 people, but has sleeping accommodation for 4. The cabin has electricity, running water from a nearby stream and a toilet. There is no shower. Gode komfortable senger (1 dobbeltseng, 1 enkeltseng og mulighet for å sette opp 1 ekstra seng), myke varme dyner og puter, saueskinn og vedfyrt ovn. Trenger du et forfriskende bad, kan du ta det i en de mange kulpene ved elven som renner ved campen.

Cabin near the Fjord

The Eldhuset is part of a farmyard. The cottage has its own terrace with a roof and its own parking. Livingroom and modern kitchen in the same room, two bedrooms and a new bathroom with washing machine. The bedrooms have double beds (150x200) and a built-in bed (150 x 200). The farm is located near the ferry terminal, Lavik, along the E39. The cabin is a great starting point for kayaking on the fjord, forest walks or easy mountain hikes. We have a motorboat, SUP, kayak and sauna for rent.

Side by side with the apple trees in an old, organic orchard – the oldest part on our farm, «Fretheim Gard» – you'll find it: Beautifully situated by the fjord in Flåm, only a short walk from the center of Flåm and station area. The cabin is architect-designed by Stiv Kuling and was completed in 2023. It's built entirely of Norwegian pine. A modern, bright, and comfortable cabin with stunning views, a peaceful location, and close to hiking trails and natural attractions.

Flåm Retreat's minihouse is a sustainable and exclusive cabin designed by Snøhetta, with a focus on reducing human impact on nature. Enjoy panoramic views of Flåmsdalen, tranquility, and some of the world’s most stunning scenery. The mini-house has two double beds and sleeps four comfortably. A fifth guest can use the sofa bed for NOK 250. From May to September, we require a 2-night minimum stay. Single-night gaps will be released as they become available.
