The Baltic Sea beaches can be reached in 15 minutes by car or 30 minutes by bike. 15 minutes (13 km) by car is the Christian Albrechts University of Kiel. Eckernförde with its many small shops and beautiful city beach can be reached in 20 minutes by car. The landscape of the Danish Wohld invites you to hike and cycle and offers numerous excursion possibilities.

In recent years, we have lovingly handcrafted a vacation apartment (60 m2) from the former classroom wing of the "Grot School", where the "groten" (big) students had their classroom. A light-flooded large eat-in kitchen forms the center of the stylish apartment. Centrally but rurally located, 15 minutes by car to the Kiel center, 25 minutes to the beach. Paddle on Eider & Westensee, hike in the nature park!

The apartment is about 100 m², has 2 rooms, kitchen and bathroom. It is level and has an independent entrance. It has its own terrace and is located on the south side of the house. Rooms are featured with antique furniture. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, oven, refrigerator. The bathroom has a large corner bath and double sink. In the living room is a big flat screen. And lots of shelves with books for every taste.
