Pian della Chiesa, Concara - nature, wine, paths, sea and shared pool

Pian della Chiesa is an 8 hectares estate that sits on top of the Caprione peninsula, 900 meters from the Mediterranean and 350 meters above sea level. It has different accommodation solutions: Murella (host 6), Dolina (host 6), Dolinetta (host 4), Bungalow (host 4) and Concara (host 2). It is in an ideal position for exploring the hill villages and coast of the Cinque Terre, Liguria and Northern Tuscany. Set in a Natural Park that is mainly made up of typical Mediterranean woods of umbrella pines, helms and Turkish oaks, woven with paths, and bordering the beautiful and steep coastline of Southern Liguria. It is ideally set for exploring the small villages on the coast, with delicious fish restaurants and hidden coves from which to swim. The Cinque Terre are easily reachable, with miles of walking paths on the craggy coastline, punctuated by villages clinging to the edge of the coast, with steep vineyards where the grapes are collected in mini-funicular train arrangements. Alternatively you might head east, towards the Apennines and the Apuan Alps, made of the famous Carrara marble so loved by Michelangelo. Deep valleys hold traces of the Romans and of the ancient indigenous population called the Lunis. The mountains also harbour delicious restaurants and charming villages worth exploring. The classic cities of Tuscany are also not far away, with Pisa and Lucca around an hour away, while Florence is just under 2 hours. Romantic cottage in the hedge of a basin in the oak woods of the Montemarcello Natural Park. Perfect for forays into the Cinque Terre or neighboring villages and a wonderful place to stay at home, lounging in a hammock stretched between the trees. Concara has been converted to be perfect for a couple, with a bedroom upstairs and a living room, bathroom with shower and kitchen on the ground floor. A small sofa in the living room converts into a bed if you wish to book it for three, but space will be limited. The kitchen and dining room have been built into a glass extension of the main building, creating a wonderful and bright space in which to cook. A lawn extends in front of the kitchen, bordered by low dry-stone walls in limestone that serve all around to terrace the hill. Next to our terraced Cabernet Franc vineyard you can enjoy our shared 10mx 3m pool with 4 sun loungers and a Balinese bed. We produce a fine organic red wine called 'Margot'. Very fast Starlink WiFi, ideal for remote working. Concara is equipped with a welcoming and efficient wood-burning oven. Wood logs are free. Central heating is available but not included. A meter reading will determine the cost (€4 per m3). Alternatively, a lump sum can be quoted. CITR code: 011016-AGR-0003

The structure , in the past, was renovated in a Rustic style, but it has been renovated in the Rustic style, while maintaining the true essence of the shepherd's houses. Inside you will find a suggestive atmosphere,with fireplace, kitchen and handmade furnishings. From the bedroom window, you can show up with all their beauty , the marble caves. A cozy stone and wood chalet with amazing views of the Apennines, surrounded by nature with a large garden where you can relax and enjoy the spectacular sunsets. We will be happy to host you on the ground floor which is dedicated to the B&B. The warm and welcoming rooms have independent entrances and lead onto the garden. Fantastic location between Bologna (30') and Florence (40') reachable by car, train and even on foot! Don't miss the sunset, even better with a good glass of wine!

Stone house chalet surrounded by nature, on top of the hill at 1020 m.a.s.l. Breathtaking panoramic scenery with views of forests and valleys. Quiet, nature and a starry sky are what make this place special. Restoration completed in 2020. Possibility of using an additional outdoor kitchen with wood-burning oven (to bake pizza/bread) and the laundry room. Independent driveway to the front of the house with free parking. Electric cars can be charged if required.

The house is called "La Vedetta” (the Lookout) because it was used as a lookout tower during the Second World War. Casa Melograno is a carefully renovated rustic stone building. To get to the house there is a narrow uphill road not suitable for lowered cars, where the first 5 meters are for experienced drivers. The pool has a wooden terrace and pergola, deck chairs, and umbrellas. Complete with Tuscan decor with stone walls made of chestnut beams and terracotta floors. Casa Melograno has 2 double bedrooms, 1 sofa bed, living room with a kitchen and 2 bathrooms.
