Kia ora Josie and Graeme, It has been a very healing moment this stay here at Baylys Beach. We live at Maketū Beach, where we see the sun rise and set each day so the bach felt right at home! So many special extras, thank you for every little well-thought-out detail! Will definitely return in the Springtime. To learn the connection between the Ramsey and Flavell families is special. Very nice accommodation. Tastefully appointed and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. Location is very quiet in rural setting. Thanks to the absence if city lights, the stargazing from the front porch was amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Greg was an outstanding host, answered my messages pretty fast! The hot water bottles were a very welcome touch especially at this time of year. The surroundings were beautiful and our little one enjoyed finding a train carriage to explore on the grounds. Thanks again Greg and all the best ☺️

The weather wasn’t great but it didn’t matter. Access to the beach is easy and it’s still beautiful when stormy, and wonderful to come back to a warm and comfortable home - we really enjoyed the log burner and sitting at the long kitchen table with its ocean view and surrounding bush. Very private but close to everything you need. Caroline was a very solicitous and communicative host. Highly recommended at any time of the year.
