Our modern home is 15 minutes drive from Taupo but still feels like a secret hideaway. It is quiet and private with majestic views of Lake Taupo and Mount Ruapehu - the sunsets are stunning. For those fisherpeople you will be 10 to 20 minutes drive from world class trout/fly fishing spots. Turangi is 10 minutes drive south, with great cafes and restaurants, 40 minutes to Mt Ruapehu for fabulous skiing and the Sky Waka. Turangi is the hub for the adventure tourism activities.

Our cosy Apartment is located Motuoapa where you will wake with the Tuis and be perfectly situated for skiing, hiking the Tongariro crossing, fishing the lake or rivers or shopping in bustling Taupo, only 25 mins by car. The lakefront, a great café and the marina are a scenic 10 minute walk away, 2 minutes by car. The neighbourhood boasts a tennis court, basketball court, reserves and an abundance of native birds.
