Acorn Barn a unique former cow house

Get away from it all with a cosy stay in a unique little barn conversion on a small holding with poultry, sheep and pigs. Acorn Barn sits at the end of its own driveway across a field set above a small CAMC 5cl. At night you may hear owls in the valley and the usual country noises by day from nearby working farms although the barn itself is double glazed and previous guests haven’t found any noises intrusive. You can see the railway line and look down on the duck pond and watch the poultry.

The Piggery

The Piggery is situated in the heart of the countryside but located just 3 miles from Truro. The central location is perfect for exploring Cornwall with easy access to both coasts and the main roads. Its rural location is ideally situated to make the most of the numerous country walks accessible from your front door. It is the perfect place for a peaceful relaxing break, portraying all the cornish countryside has to offer including views of our talkative geese and very friendly cows.

Stunning situation overlooking the beautiful River Fal with a single room cottage, eco pod and own ablutions block with electric shower and mains WC. You will be the only guests at the property. We are doing some improvement works in early 2024 and will not open until Easter 24.
