We loved spending our Memorial Day weekend here!! The location was beautiful, very secluded and private, and the cabin was clean and cozy. The WiFi also worked super well despite the location. Mark was an amazing host! He communicated everything clearly so there was no confusion for our arrival or departure, and he provided us with everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. We even left an item at the cabin, and Mark was so kind to take the time to mail it and get it back to us! We highly recommend this cabin for your stay in Lost City!

The cabin is so beautiful and tastefully decorated. The outdoor porches and seating area are lovely. The area itself is so beautiful. It was so peaceful. The town is also lovely, with a great general store with really wonderful owners. The place was difficult to find -- the directions that we got from airbnb and put into google maps took us to the middle of the highway and told us to stop. Luckily we found someone to ask for directions who helped us out. Other than it being tricky to find, it is an absolute gem and truly a treat to be in such a lovely space in one of the most beautiful parts of the country.

A truly unforgettable retreat! It was an incredible stay at Denisa’s beautiful woodland home in Mathias, West Virginia. From the moment I booked, Denisa was incredibly communicative, responsive, and thoughtful - going above and beyond to ensure the stay was perfect. The home itself is incredible and impeccably maintained, with tasteful interior design and a warmth that made it feel like a true getaway. The chef’s kitchen was a dream - fully stocked and ideal for cooking and gathering. Every room was spotless, and you could tell great care was put into every detail. The surrounding area is a peaceful retreat in the woods is quiet, serene, and perfect for decompressing. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly to anyone seeking a restful and elevated escape. Without a doubt, I'll be back the next time the opportunity arises. Much love and appreciation to Denisa and her family for hosting such a memorable stay!

This cabin surpassed expectations! We had such a cozy time at the Cabin for a long weekend. The cabin was clean and Jonathan and Cynthia were very communicative. We are already trying to figure out when we can stay again; would definitely recommend!
