Family-friendly holiday rentals in Trier

Thank you for the lovely getaway. We had a great time ! We were greeted incredibly warmly and felt like at home.

Carmelo took the time to meet me in person and to say goodbye to me in person. The accommodation is well equipped for families with children. I was there with a dog, who felt very comfortable in the fenced garden. The location is absolutely amazing. Super awesome. Right on the canyon where you can hike fantastically. Or just sit and relax. Quiet and secluded in the immediate natural surroundings. A dream.

The extended weekend in Carola's accommodation was simply great. Starting with the communication, uncomplicated check-in, the location of the accommodation invites you to all kinds of outdoor activities (hiking, mountain biking, swimming in the nearby lake and certainly more is possible) and last but not least the accommodation as such - everything corresponded to the pictures, great architecture and a lot of inspiration for your own home. A real recommendation to have a nice time. We will be back! :)

What a beautiful home in a beautiful area and nice reception by owner René. The house was very complete and very clean. We made happy memories with our family. René and his wife even came to bring cake with Mother's Day...very thoughtful. We have one minus point and those are the sleeping pillows on the beds that are too small/thin so we slept poorly, so bring your own pillow (tip). But otherwise, we definitely recommend this home.

We were there for the second time and again completely thrilled. The apartment and the complex are well maintained, clean and even more beautiful than in the pictures. The pool is large, pleasantly warm (30 degrees) and an absolute highlight at any time of the day. In addition, a round of relaxation in the whirlpool and switching off is a breeze. Thank you for the smooth handling and the loving and discreet hospitality. Our 2nd stay at Villa Tropica was again an absolute highlight!

We had a great stay! Really beautiful and peaceful surroundings where you can go for great walks. The apartment was very clean and the jacuzzi and sauna were great!

It has been several years I have stayed at Home in Boppard and every time I am very satisfied with the location, amenities, and hospitality of the host. I recommend it for anyone staying in the Middle Rhein and looking for a great base for activities.

We enjoyed a lovely stay. The communication before, during and after our stay went perfectly and the house completely matched the photos and our expectations. A perfect house for a family weekend or with a few friends.

We were there with 13 adults and 1 toddler over Pentecost. The accommodation is in the absolute middle of nowhere and accordingly it is nice to simply walk away from the accommodation. Nevertheless, you can be in Trier in 20 minutes. The house is huge and incredibly cozy with a lot of charm! Ideal for cooking and playing as a large family. In the evening, we then made a campfire with the fire bowl. It was an all-round relaxing holiday. A clear recommendation!

We had a really great time in Lahnstein, and staying at the castle was totally part of the charm! The rooms have such a unique charm, it feels really genuine, whilst still reasonably comfortable and convenient. The location is brilliant, right on the bank of the Rhine, and the promenade is really beautiful. We would definitely recommend staying here, though if you expect luxury over charm, this might not be the place for you.

Dagmar’s place was so nice. Spotlessly clean. Complete with everything you’d need. Absolutely amazing views. It could be challenging for some to climb the hill and or steps but it is so worth it. Challenges when met can provide great rewards and this is true of Dagmar’s place. We loved it and would absolutely return when visiting the area.

This was a wonderful place in a good neighborhood. It was even bigger and nicer than expected based on the photos. It was very clean and a great space to spend the weekend! Would definitely go back for my next trip there!

The holiday home was neat and well equipped and quietly located. There was a small sitting area in the kitchen, but with good weather it was also nice to sit outside on the terrace. The spaces in the house were well used, such as the refrigerator under the stairs. The extensive information corner was very nice, where the host could also tell us a lot about it. The host was very welcoming and friendly. There is plenty to do in the area; cycling along the Lahn and Rhine or Moselle and hiking from Traumschleife and Traumpfade or visiting Koblenz, Boppard, Bad Ems. We would definitely recommend this property to others!

There were three of us from Muttwich to Sunday and had a great stay all around. The apartment was sparkling clean, very nicely furnished and we lacked nothing. The surroundings are fantastic – perfect for relaxing, but also ideal for excursions and activities. The weather was great and made the stay even more enjoyable. We would like to especially highlight the hosts Karin and Manfred – super nice, warm and with great tips for the area. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back. Absolutely recommended!

We stayed with a group of 6 adults and 5 small children between 6 months and 4 years and felt super comfortable. There was everything you need for the kids: high chairs, crib, night lights, stair gates, stools, potters, children's dishes and really lots of toys inside and outside. There's really nothing missing. The kitchen was also well equipped. The pool was a highlight. At least one day it was warm enough to jump in. For the summer, that's certainly great. Degi was also totally friendly and easy to reach. Existing deficiencies in the play equipment were resolved immediately. We felt really comfortable and will definitely be back.

We had a lovely stay in the nice airbnb. It is very complete and spacious for 2 adults and 2 children, beautiful views over the hills and beautiful fruit trees, flowers and vegetables in the garden for which they work hard. We got delicious vegetables, herbs and fruits from the garden, the French bakery drives past the house: it was delicious! The pool was a big party for our children and so also for ourselves! The airbnb is in a rural location, nice city Metz 30 minutes drive. We felt very welcome with our host, warm and involved but also sweet for the kids. Thank you very much for everything! Au Revoir!!

We spent wonderful Pentecost days in the middle of nature and enjoyed the time very much. The house is clean and above all the kitchen is very well equipped (the hotplates, however, heat up very slowly, so we used our mobile hotplate a lot & can highly recommend it:)) Sauna, swimming pool & grill made the stay perfect🥰

Very nice apartment overlooking the Mosel. Wonderful area for hiking and cycling. Best was the cool pool after a hike.
