Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Torfaen Principal Area

A massive thank you to Abbi, who has been an exceptional host. We had a fantastic time staying at the property. Not only is it a stunning property, but a great location, which was close to work and family for us. In addition to being a stunning area close to the mountains for walks and mountain biking. My husband and I are particularly grateful as Abbi allowed us to stay at the property for 5 months in total while renovations were being done to our home as we had unfortunately been through a flooding experience. Abbi was very flexible and allowed us as much time as we needed for the repairs to our home to be fully completed . Very friendly and professional and nothing was too much trouble. It was an answer to prayers in a very distressing time. We are extremely grateful and can’t recommend enough. We will miss staying at property as it’s stunning and very cosy; was very much like a temporary second home for us. Spacious place, including utility room and area out the back.🙌🙏

What a treat to stay at Dipu’s place in Blaenavon! It was a good, comfortable space for our family of 6 and there was lots of parking on the street outside. We enjoyed exploring the heritage centre in Blaenavon, hiking up the Sugarloaf via St Mary’s Vale and then sampling the locally sourced coffee and pastries at the newly opened Welsh General Store round the corner.

We had a very pleasant experience at the AirBnb. The accomodation was very clean and very well maintained. It was fully equipped with all the essentials which made it very comfortable. We were a family of two and the space was too big so it was very pleasing as the kids had ample space to play around and sleep comfortably. The kitchen was well stocked so we did not have to run around at the shops looking for essentials. The garden area was also very tidy. Overall i would give a 5 star to the property and the service. Jordan is one of the finest host and hence Welldone !!

Very responsive host. House was very lovely inside and included custom artwork by the host and hosts father! Pool/table tennis table is a nice addition. Very thoughtful amenities in the house. They even messeged us to say we could have a later checkout if we wanted!

The property was perfect for our needs. Spacious with a bathroom for each room. The kitchen was delightful to make meals and chat, there is everything you need in this well equipped kitchen which also has a big dining table to enjoy meals together. The lounge is spacious with comfortable furniture and a good size tv (although we didn’t use this much). All the bedrooms are a decent size with a bathroom en-suite in the doubles (another bathroom next to the twin room). The bed linen was spotless and smelt amazing. The garden was large and well fenced off to ensure the children and our dogs were safe. We loved our short stay here and have already booked a return visit. Thank you Elizabeth for making our stay so enjoyable x

This is a delightful apartment in a beautiful place, booking was simple.. there’s plenty of nearby eateries and mountains of wonderful scenery and culture… I’d love to go back to Leann’s place.

Very clear instructions on how to find and enter the accomodation and very responsive to messages

Rosemarie was extremely welcoming and very friendly. The Loft was stylishly decorated and spotlessly clean. It was spacious and comfortable and a peaceful and relaxing environment. The Loft is located in a spectacular part of South Wales. Plenty of Castles to visit and mountains to climb. We would definitely return and stay in the Loft again.

This place is exactly like the pictures and descriptions. Beautiful fixtures and fittings. Large shower and really comfy bed. A great place with everything you would need for an overnight stay. We would have loved to have stayed longer. If we are ever back in this area we won’t hesitate to book again. Thank you.

Lovely caravan in the garden, with good facilities. Good to have bedrooms at either end and two bathrooms. Tidy and clean and easy to access. Quiet, scenic location. We enjoyed seeing the guinea pigs in the garden. Overall, great for what we needed for a couple of nights to visit nearby attractions.

Amazing stay, so peaceful and lovely. Location is great, secluded but close enough to drive to takeaway spots or Tesco. Not too far from the Brecon Beacons where we travelled to for the four falls trail. Would visit again, thank you :)

Beautifully kept flat, very well decorated, and quiet. Had everything i needed for my 3 day stay. I had a problem at check in(key broke in lock) joleta responded to message in about 10 mins and was there 20 mins later with another set of keys. Excellent photos to show you how to find car park and key box. cardiff castle and centre are about 20 mins walk and there is a smaller high street 15 mins in the other direction with a tescos and some nice looking places to eat. Thank you for a lovely stay.

One of the best Airbnb ‘s we have stayed in . Perfect peaceful location . Near to shops and parks . Spotlessly clean . Comfortably big apartment . Everything we needed for a relaxing stay . We will return and highly recommend . Thank you .

The Pad is a wonderful place to stay in a really nice area. The apartment is immaculate and has a beautifully curated art deco interior. The space has everything you need, Jane really has thought of everything. We felt relaxed in the space; the gorgeous views from the balcony and visits from Mr Hopkins were an added bonus. We both said that we had never stayed in an AirBnB that was so good before. Jane knew it was our anniversary and very thoughtfully added some special extras. We will definitely be back when we return to Cardiff! Cardiff centre is easily accessible by public transport, or on foot (about 30 mins). The local area has a great selection of shops and restaurants, as well as a lovely park.

What a fabulous find so close to Whitchurch village with easy free parking. It was a joy to stay at the self contained bungalow. The whole place was immaculate throughout and completely matched the images. The bungalow was quiet and peaceful all through my stay. Lovely touches of arriving to bread, milk, biscuits, tea , coffee and jam. Loads of towels for use if needed and a very comfy bed with crisp linen. The host was so so lovely and welcoming that I felt at home straight away after a very long car journey. I absolutely loved my stay and could not recommend this place any more highly. I will definitely want to stay again.

We had the most wonderful stay with Mags. The house is stunning, surrounded by the most beautiful landscaped gardens. It was lovely to wake up to the birdsong in the morning. The property itself is cosy, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We slept great and the shower is excellent! Lastly, Mags was the cherry on top. She was kind, attentive and went the extra mile to make us feel welcome, albeit we only stayed for one night. One of the best Air BnBs we’ve stayed in - we hope we can find an excuse to come back again. Brava!

We enjoyed our two nights relaxing on the roomy, comfortable living room furniture. It was very quiet even though it is located right downtown, close to everything.
