Tyr Ywen-Stunning cottage with far-reaching views

NickRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had the most incredible stay at Tyr Ywen! The cottage is even more beautiful in person—cozy, spotless, and thoughtfully designed with everything you could possibly need. Waking up to the peaceful countryside views every morning was such a treat. It felt like a true escape from the world. The hosts were friendly and responsive, making check-in seamless and stress-free. The logburner was a lovely touch in the evenings, and the kitchen had all the essentials for home-cooked meals. Honestly, I didn’t want to leave! Fantastic hottube and views of the Sugar loaf. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a tranquil getaway with stunning scenery. Can’t wait to come back!

We had a great stay at Yarlington Dairy. The views were beautiful and inside of the cottage was lovely too. The hot tub was great to come back to after a few long hikes! Great location and really friendly and welcoming host. We will definitely be coming back.

The Stables: Cozy cottage with views and a hot tub

HarmanpreetRating, 5 stars3 days ago
A peaceful countryside retreat – perfect for unwinding! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming place. The location is stunning — surrounded by rolling fields and open skies, it’s the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Waking up to the view of lush green pastures and gentle hills was pure bliss. The hot tub was a highlight — soaking in it while watching the sunset over the fields was incredibly relaxing. The property has a lovely rustic charm, with chicken coops and horse stables adding to the authentic rural experience. We even got to see the chickens roaming freely and the horses grazing nearby, which made it feel like a real working farm stay. The host was warm and welcoming, and everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. Whether you’re looking for peace and quiet or just a unique countryside experience, this place is a gem.

Pontysgob Cottage

VanessaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved our week in the cottage, it is an idyllic spot in the hills, stream at bottom of garden, enclosed garden for dog, next to field of sheep and chickens. The cottage was cosy and well equipped, we loved the character of this old building. Will, the owner, came and greeted us, explained a plethora of local spots to visit and places to eat. We ate at the Crown in Pantygill and The Bear in Crickholwell which were fab, visited the old Church and biked the boardwalk. We also ventured further a field to Ogmore on Sea, a beautiful beach with rocks to climb for kids. Hills burger restaurant near Brecon. Zip World, waterfall walks and Brecon steam train near Methyr Tidfill and finally thr Mumbles. It really was a packed holiday, full of adventures, good food and coming home to our cosy, comfy home from home including multiple dips in the amazing wood fired hot tub, a great way to relax looking, at the stars, after a full day out. Thanks Hersery and Will.

Sugarloaf cottage - stylish elegant with hot tub

EmilyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We spent 2 nights at Sugarloaf cottage as we wanted to get some walking done in the Brecon Beacons. Alison was friendly from the start and made us feel at ease and our dog was made to feel very welcome too. The cottage looks exactly like the photos and was super clean. The views from the hot tub were fantastic. Alison gave us some great recommendations for places to eat and places to visit. Overall a fantastic couple of nights spent at Sugarloaf and if we are ever back this way, we’d opt to stay again. Thank you Alison 😄

Cosy cottage, Brecon Beacons National Park

HelenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Cosy cottage, in a fabulous location. We had everything we needed for a weekend away. We loved sitting on the patio, listening to the birds. And great that it's dog friendly. The cottage is very convenient for many lovely day trips - we enjoyed the market at Abergavenny, and Llanthony Priory particularly. We also walked from the door along the canal to Goytre Wharf, which was highly recommended. Sarah was a super flexible host, which we really appreciated (thank you again).

Zebra House

JulieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay at Zebra house. There was everything we needed to make the stay easy. Very easy to access all the walks we wanted to do. Weather was very up and down with 2 rainy days but was great to come back to the cosy house and have the ability to dry clothing in the dryer. We had one gloriously sunny day and enjoyed the garden. We hadn’t expected the house to be so dog welcoming. Was lovely to see the dog area and dog things. Thank you so much, will definitely recommend and hope to be back.
