Great location, located at the end of a private road, so very peaceful and quiet. Perfect gateway to Brecon spots, there’s also walking trail right from the back garden door. The house is very good size with many rooms and has everything you need. There’s also a gym though I didn’t even go downstairs to check out. There’s a conservatory living area with lots of kids toys to play with, mine are 4/6 year old and they live it. Very kids friendly and they have kids toys across all floors to keep them occupied. Not close to restaurant but you can do take away or there’s a massive kitchen to cook though we haven’t used much of that. Host is very responsive and friendly and very thoughtful of what I need for my young kids by setting up the rooms ready for us. Highly recommend

Great comms from the start and very helpfull. Last minute problem with chosen accomodation was easily corrected with a very beautifull upgraded alternative in a lovely quiet private location. Both Alison and Jay were extremely helpfull and always communicated promptly. Would definately recommend them, so friendly. Thank you ever so much.

The location was perfect for our requirements, right on the edge of the Brecon Beacons. No noise from neighbours at all, it was very quiet and peaceful! The property had everything we needed and was really clean. Super-comfy beds and a small, private courtyard garden. Plenty of parking on the roads outside too. Would happily stay here again!

The place was in a quiet area and good base for travelling to Cardiff and Caerphilly and other places in South Wales Clean and comfortable

Great location, lots of nice food around, lots of stuff to do locally, house is decorated very well and modern in a quiet part of town would definitely stay again!

Can't fault the house, it had everything you need. It was clean, tidy and the hot tub was brilliant. There was a very nice Wetherspoons about half a mile away but if you are walking there are some decent hills, you are in the valleys after all. We had a very enjoyable stay and if you want to stop in this neck of the woods you won't go far wrong stopping here. Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed my stay at this property. The place was spotlessly clean and it looked exactly like the photos. The living room was very spacious and perfect for relaxing after a long day. The property is in a little part of the village which was surrounded by stunning valley views and in the area there is lots to do and see. All of this was topped off with helpful and friendly responses from the host. I really enjoyed my stay here and will definitely be booking again. Highly recommend!

I had a lovely stay here with my brother, my sister and my two dogs. We used it as a base to walk Pen Y Fan and the Four Waterfalls trail. This was the first time staying in an Airbnb which is used as someone's home as well, so a new experience for me. The garden is fully secure so I was really comfortable letting the dogs off the lead. Big Sofas and large TV meant relaxing in the evening was easy. Alan was quick to respond to any messages and helpful in answering any questions we had.

We got to the Wales Retreat and from the moment we walked in we flet so at home with the cosy features. The property smelt beautiful all throughout. Everything was spotless and even the fridge was equipped with essentials which was greatly recieved. The loaction is absolutely beautiful and I was in love with our own secluded private decking area with the most comfiest beanbag seats! Pet friendly which was a bonus for our GSP - she loved having a little area outside of her own and tje site was very welcoming to dogs. We will really be booking in again although we sre struggling to find your availability! 🙂

stayed a weekend here and wasn't disappointed, by far the best layed out chalet I've ever been in, made the most of the space and is finished to a very high standard.. absolutely spotlessly clean and comfy, lovely and quiet on the park aswel... would deffo stay again. communication with Sarah was spot on, very helpful and quick to respond.

We had a wonderful stay at The Old Rectory Coach House. Surrounded by nature, it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The peaceful setting and thoughtful touches made it a truly memorable experience. The swimming pool was a lovely bonus, and the whole place is ideal for families, with a great outdoor play area for the kids. Jan is a great and friendly host who made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended!

Great place with perfect hosts! The barn is lovely throughout and the location is perfect for lots of interesting places to visit! As hosts, they were really communicative and also respectful of our situation with a nervous dog. Highly recommend!!

We booked here as two couples and had an amazing stay. Jacqui met us when we arrived and was very friendly and showed us what we needed to know. Everything was spotless and it is a very peaceful area. The swimming pool is fabulous and very well kept. The kitchen has everything you need. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will be recommending to friends and family.

Words from the youngest-"Insanity great! The gardens are so beautiful. The shower was godly—the person who built it deserves a golden trophy." Our yurt stay was magical—peaceful sky views from bed, cosy warmth, and thoughtful design. My son adored the comfy bed and soft rug, and the wood burner made evenings perfect. The shower- Majestic.Heavenly.Divine. The outdoor kitchen kept family time going through dinner prep—fully equipped and easy to use, luxurious. The record player was a sweet touch (bringing records next time!). We barely needed our supplies—towels, robes, coffee, air fryer, hot plate, and every pot and pan were provided. The wild swimming lake was clean and clear, with soft water and tadpoles resting in the shallows. A swing on a giant oak, deer wandering the land—it felt like a fairytale. Amanda and Rob were kind, relaxed, and attentive, with a strong sense of care and safety. Our son was totally at ease—he thrived in the calm. This place is magic. We’ll be back.

Tamsins home was pristine well thought out and everything was quality there are so many thoughtful touches around the kitchen and around the house and the log burner was glorious Tamsin was so accommodating and helpful if there were any questions. She offered myself and my friend a longer stay at a really good price I will definitely be back in the future. It was a blessing Thankyou

Probably the most beautiful cottage I've ever stayed in. I didn't quite realise how private the property was, set down the short drive away from the adorable lane, nestled in the rolling hills, with the sheep, lambs and the little lake, we really couldn't get over how beautiful this place is. The outdoor games, sun loungers, hot tub and garden space make it the perfect get away. We had a dog which was great for them to run around. The rolling hills and canal were so stunning. So relaxing and tranquil. The pub down the lane was great also. We were not ready for how beautiful and well set up this airbnb was! Don't often re-book the same place but we will definitely be back, thank you for a lovely stay.

Will definitely use again when in Bleanavon. Central to everything especially the funeral home, if ur there for a funeral.

We had a great time staying in this quirky bus! Simon was exceptionally helpful and nothing was too much trouble. It is comfortable with all the basic things you would need and you dont even have to learn to drive it. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and walking the canal is amazing. We have just returned from a stay here whilst we visited our son at Cardiff Uni and family in Gloucestershire. The house is well located for proximity to the M4 Newport and Cardiff particularly . It was dog friendly . There is a fenced area at the bottom of the garden and a park nearby for walks . Parking is on a side street . We had no problem finding a park on it and we were back and forth frequently . The house is next to a very busy A road and the front bedroom is noisy as a result but coming from London that didn’t bother us particularly . The proximity to a fish and chip shop, Greggs, Tesco extra and sub zero ice cream parlour was most welcome ! The owner was very helpful and easy to communicate with when we needed help with a couple of small issues .
