Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Topeka

Great house that was perfect for our weekend. We loved the screened in porch and proximity to campus. We will be back!

It was absolutely lovely. I am so happy with my stay. A couple of cautions- the walk to the private entrance may be difficult for mobility impaired individuals and the wifi was spotty. Honestly nothing worth lowering the review tho! The pool was perfect, the sauna was lovely, and we made ourselves right at home ☺️

The house is simple and had an old charm to it. The bathroom is Jack and Jill style so it can be accessed from both bedrooms. If someone is sleeping on the couch then one of the bedrooms will need to be left open so they can access the bathroom too. The water gets nice and hot very quickly, and has good pressure. The stove is gas.

Great little get away spot. Clean and looks like the photos. Would recommend. Not far from Lawrence or KC.

I would stay at Jack’s house over and over. The home is so beautiful and spacious. We had everything we needed. The space this home has in incredible and it’s so cozy and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone I know. Jack was so nice and very helpful understanding, and very accommodating.

Joy was a fabulous host. He place is beautiful and in a perfect location. I was there for my daughter’s graduation and it was in a perfect location. The patio is beautiful and a great place to relax. I would definitely go back! Thank you!!

Emma and Chin’s place was great just what we were looking for. We enjoyed visiting our friends in Leavenworth and the Airbnb made the experience even better. Their home is so cute and comfortable perfect for our family! They were so accommodating and responsive to any issue that came up. So many thoughtful details and touches. I am definitely going to stay here again when I come back to Leavenworth!

What a gem! Megan's place made me miss the old ways of classic tunes with AirBnB. Everything was sparkling clean, there were snacks and basic kitchen supplies (I could have baked cookies), and the apartment was a charming combination of old character and modern amenities. I loved sitting on the porch drinking my coffee and watching all the birds from my perch. I would love to stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Megan’s apartment. I think the apartment looked even better in person. The check-in/check-out process was simple and secure. The beds and couch were comfortable and there was plenty of room for 4 of us. Thank you!

I usually don't leave reviews, but in this case I have to. If you're on the fence about booking here, it's time to get off the fence! This place is the perfect getaway for somebody who needs time outside the city with city things within reach. The hosts are truly kind people and do not take those who rent the space from them for granted. If I come back to the area, I will absolutely be back.

Had a wonderful stay. Plenty of room for grand kids to play inside. Loved open floor plan for family Christmas.

Perfect location! Daniel's place was exceptionally clean, exactly as described, and just steps to shops and restaurants. On the Saturday we were there, there was a farmer's market right in the parking lot, which was a great surprise! Highly recommend this condo if you're going to Lawrence!

Debra’s place was cozy, clean and comfortable. The added drinks and snacks were an appropriated surprise. Debra was great at communicating and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely love to stay at Debra’s place again.

Sherry was one of the best hosts we have had. She was very quick to respond if we needed anything and was genuinely concerned that we had a wonderful stay. You couldn't ask for a better host. Everything was exactly as described and shown. This was the most well outfitted place we have ever stayed. We cooked our own meals outside on the grill and inside the kitchen, everything we needed or could want was there. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows perfect. The towels were new and soft as could be. If I had to describe the whole thing in a word, it would be quality. It is obvious Sherry has a high standard for herself. I would stay here if I had business in Topeka or Manhattan. It is a short drive to both but the peace and quiet here is worth every mile. It was so quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. We saw deer, turkeys, and a Bald Eagle so yes, you are in the country here but with good internet! We highly recommend it.

Shereen was very responsive and helpful!! The place looked like the photos. It is a little walk to the lake and you can’t see the lake from the house but it was still beautiful countryside. Very spacious and lots of yard space for games and being outside. Didn’t use the lake front as water was really high and you couldn’t walk out to the dock because of this. Not her fault of course just be aware if you are renting during a rainy time. Lots of sleeping spaces and great kitchen!! Would definitely consider renting again.

We were looking for a quiet secluded space to recharge and Ben’s place was perfect. Clean cozy and well stocked for our needs. It rained most of the time we were there and we enjoyed it from the cozy interior. The lush green trees surrounded the cabin and gave us privacy and quiet. We will return when it’s not raining so we can enjoy the fire pit!

When I got there I was exhausted so I neglected to read everything they had to read. Ì was cold and didn't I know how to turn the AC up so I called Aaron. He was super nice and patient with me, and told me how. Afterwards I read everything and it was all typed up how to do it. Instead of saying it's all on paper he just told me how. I felt like he was a super great guy and Iwas very impressed.

We came for a quick weekend getaway. The location is very private and peaceful. The cabin was clean and stocked very well with towels and paper goods. We were very comfortable, the A/C works really well. The cabin has all appliances you may need, from kitchen to washer and dryer. The location is very convenient to Emporia and some great restaurants. Also if you choose to cook, they have everything you need. No need to leave if you don’t want to. We really enjoyed sitting on the front porch overlooking the nearby fields and forests. We also enjoyed going for walks nearby too!

This Grantville gem is a great get away. We would have loved to take advantage of the remote trails, screened in porch and quiet surroundings, but for us it was the perfect spot to group and re-group for our son's wedding in Topeka, just a short drive west. I would recommend this to anyone going near there, Mallory's communication is spot on. Thank you all for sharing your home.
