We stayed as an extended family for a funeral. It happened to be a busy weekend in Lawrence and wound up being the perfect place.

It was absolutely lovely. I am so happy with my stay. A couple of cautions- the walk to the private entrance may be difficult for mobility impaired individuals and the wifi was spotty. Honestly nothing worth lowering the review tho! The pool was perfect, the sauna was lovely, and we made ourselves right at home ☺️

We had a wonderful time staying with Dena. The house is beautiful and the area is spectacular. We felt right at home! Everything was labeled and the instructions were easy to follow to get in and out of the house. The fields in the back were gorgeous and the property is immaculately groomed. The house was super clean and spacious. We enjoyed ourselves and would definitely return again!

Beautiful home. Nicely decorated. I especially like the seahorses/ocean decor. The living room couch was beautiful. Had a great stay and rested well from a long drive and a family wedding. Highly recommend. Would stay again if I’m in the area. Best regards, Marianne

you can tell more about people when something goes a little wrong than when everything is perfect. There was a small mechanical issue with the pool and they sent the nicest person out to fix it and went above and beyond to make sure all our kiddos could continue to use the pool. even though it would have been much cheaper for them to close the pool. This speaks volumes about their commitment to their guests. we would totally stay there again if we ever were in the KC area.

This house was perfect for our race weekend! It’s super close to the track—we could just walk there, which made things really easy. We had 8 people in our group and everyone absolutely loved the place. The basketball court, pickleball court, and putting green were a blast—we spent a lot of time out there just having fun. Inside, the house was super clean and well taken care of. The bedrooms and bathrooms were in great shape and really comfortable. The kitchen was awesome—fully stocked and even labeled, which made cooking simple. Little extras like foil, spices, and extra trash bags were super helpful and much appreciated. Honestly, we had a great time and I can’t recommend this place enough. Thanks so much for such a great stay!

The house was pretty inside and out. Very clean. Quiet neighborhood. Comfortable furniture and bed. Melissa was very responsive to questions. She was polite and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

Kelsey’s place was excellent for our stay. Super cute well put together extremely clean and extremely comfortable. Everything in this home is new. Kelsey is a great host. She responds quickly and check in with super easy, directions are clear there is not one negative aspect to this property. Home is located in a residential neighborhood. It’s very quiet and private.

Beautiful place. Host was quick responding and helped with our early check in request. Beds were comfy, everything clean, tv had tv networks for movies for our kids, great place!!

We stayed at Ranell’s barndominium as a group of 5 traveling for Unbound Gravel in Emporia. The home was clean and cozy and having access to the garage was an extra bonus for building and working on our bicycles before the race. There was a storm on our first night and the WiFi went out. Ranell was immediately responsive and provided instructions to get it working right away. The home is very remote and quiet but super close to the highway making it easy to get food, gas, and entertainment within as little at 10 minutes. I highly recommend staying at this Airbnb!

Great location! Close to restaurants. We were there for a wedding. Super cute quirky older home. Lots of stairs. Three beds and two bathrooms. The main floor bathroom is a clawfoot tub. Coffee was provided. Linens and towels. Easy check in and out.

Stay here! I was in Lawrence for a week doing a program at KU. The cottage is a classic behind-the-house above-garage gem in a beautiful neighborhood of big Victorians and cobblestone style streets. You can also walk easily from this spot to downtown with its many great restaurants and cultural events. About a 30 minute pleasant walk to KU. I loved chatting with Mark and Suzie. They even called me after they found my book light in the bedding after I left! Why this place is great: parking in the alley next to the apartment; well-equipped, cute kitchen; AC and fans; ironing board and iron; blow dryer; Magic Bullet; tasteful leather furniture; sunny inside; sweet hosts with deep ties to the community. Pro tips: bring a sleep mask in the summer, go to Wheatfields for coffee and the Bourgeois Pig for other beverages! Keep the AC on when you leave if it’s going to be a hot Kansas day — heat does, in fact, rise! Can’t wait to return. This place was even nicer than the pics!

We look forward to staying here every single year! The property is beautiful, and the inside is immaculate. It has everything you could ever need plus more! The lake is peaceful, and we love using their Maui pad and kayaks in the water. Wild Olives is a yummy place for dinner, and we love getting coffee and breakfast at Mel’s in Alma! (Just a quick 15 minute drive). Jenny is so responsive and the BEST host!

Finally! I’ve stayed at several places lately and this lake house was the first where the hosts had hooks for towels and blankets by the couch and games on the shelves. Small touches that were noticed and appreciated. The pans weren’t a matching set, but there were a lot if them, plenty to cook with and not have to juggle. Beds were comfy and each room had a fan. Such a small but significant item. We loved our stay. Recommend highly.

Front start to finish it is fabulous. The property is perfectly maintained. Kitchen is extremely well supplied with all of the best gadgets, dishes etc. it allowed is to have the family together for many meals and enjoy our time. This home is a blessing for many to come. Will definitely book again. Thank you so much to the owners. Truly kind people.
