Minakami Town, Gunma Prefecture, at an altitude of about 730 m. On a hill overlooking the Tanigawa mountain range, there is a private cottage, "Hoshigaoka LABO", which is limited to one group per day. On clear days, you can enjoy the beautiful ridge line of the Tanigawa mountain range and the sunset, and at night, you can enjoy the snow-covered landscape and the starry sky. The Minakami area is known as the closest outdoor mecca to Tokyo. From spring to autumn, you can enjoy activities on the Tone River such as rafting and canoeing, and in winter, the area is covered in high-quality powder snow and dotted with several ski resorts for beginners to advanced skiers. In summer, you can enjoy BBQs and campfires. * BBQs and campfires are available as paid options. Please let us know in advance if you wish to use them. The building is a comfortable home made with solid wood and diatomaceous earth from Gunma Prefecture, with a focus on natural materials. It has high thermal insulation and airtightness, so you can stay warm and comfortable even in winter. You can enjoy a relaxing time surrounded by the warmth of the wood-burning stove. Hoshigaoka LABO is a base where you can enjoy the outdoors, playing in the snow, skiing, and quiet time by the wood-burning stove.
