It was selected as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings, and was built in 1931 in this town, where lacquerware shops are still lined up. Limited to one group per day without meals, you can use the entire house. I think the charm of Hirasawa is the unforgettable beauty and abundance. It would be nice if you could stay like living in this old town, such as reading, walking, local sake (sake, wine), and sleeping slowly. As a symbol of that, we renovated the staff dormitory of the Baba-no-Sato, located in Kasuga Onsen. Since Mochizuki means full moon, we scattered curves in various places and finished it with wood and plaster. From the window, you can see horses walking and dancing in the paddock. Kasuga Onsen is a small hot spring resort with a history of over 300 years, nestled in a lush natural setting. There are hot spring inns and quiet parks within walking distance, and a short walk away you'll find Mochizuki's unique shops.
