Our cottage is located in the middle of a protected natural area in Kettrup Bjerge. Here you can find peace and quiet and slow down. The area is suitable for outdoor activities, and there are plenty of trails for both cycling and hiking. The house was built in 1975 and the original style has been preserved. There is no luxury here, but plenty of peace and quiet and the opportunity for presence. Within driving distance of the house are both Blokhus and Løkken, which offer plenty of culture and dining options. Dogs are welcome, but only on the floor 😀

The house is located on a gravel road, surrounded by a little forest, outside the windows are grazing cows. 200 m to bus connection (Aalborg-Sæby-Frederikshavn), 8 km to beach (Sæby). Skagen 60 km. Fårup Sommerland 50 km. Voergård Castle 9 km, Voer Å – canoe rental 9 km. The house is pet and smoke free, built in 2014 and decorated bright and delicious with all modern comforts. Step into this completely renovated holiday apartment 1 km from the highway, tucked away in the quiet village of Åbyen, just a short drive from Hirtshals, the Oceanarium, Hirtshals Golf Club (2 km) and the beautiful Kjul Strand and Klitplantage (3 km). The 55 square meters are tastefully decorated, with a spacious bedroom, an atmospheric living room, a well-equipped kitchen with dining area and a bathroom with shower. Outside, your own little private sun yard awaits, complete with garden furniture and barbecue.

In the forest near the house we have built a shelter. The shelter can be used for a short break or an overnight stay in the nature.

The house itself is architect-designed, and there is a lovely atmosphere in the cozy space of the house. The place offers a relaxing holiday with great opportunities for experiences within a short distance.

The cottage is located on the West Coast within walking distance to the beach, dune plantation and the cozy beach town Tversted. The house - which is year-round insulated is located on a large 3000 m2 of undisturbed land with views of large protected natural areas. The cottage is fenced - with a large area, and you can therefore let your dog run free. NOTE: From May to August, the tent is open and there is therefore the possibility of 8 overnight guests.
