Mökki means "cottage" in Finnish. Enjoy your time in a special place surrounded by nature. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, which is blessed with forests, lakes and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, and there are many natural places such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri and Togakushi nearby. You can freely use the comfortable building renovated with natural materials such as cedar, cypress, and plaster, the natural garden that creates seasonal scenery, and the forest where the stream flows.In the forest that we have been maintaining, you can see small birds, squirrels, and raccoons, and you can enjoy strolling around looking for wild vegetables and mushrooms, as well as swings and hammocks. We also paid close attention to the interior design and kitchen utensils to make sure you can enjoy 'living'. At the gazebo by the stream, you can enjoy a BBQ or campfire without worrying about the weather. It is ideal as a base for hiking, fishing, paddleboarding and golf in the green season, and as a base for winter sports in the snow season. The high-ceilinged living and dining room, which you can see from the open kitchen, is very open.Enjoy a special time with your family and friends around a solid cherry wood table. The bathroom has a full bathroom with a bathtub, toilet and washbasin.The Western-style room is a connecting room with a sofa, so it is ideal for children.The other 2 rooms are modern Japanese-style rooms.We promise you a comfortable sleep with the warmth of Japanese tatami mats and local Niigata Echigo futons.There is a drying room at the back of the bathroom, so you can dry your wet outerwear and winter accessories. The bedding in the double bedroom is from the luxury Japanese bedding brand Airweave. Experience the highest quality sleep, used by top athletes and in the finest hotels ※ The wood stove in the living room is an object.Cannot be used. ※ The garage on the first floor is off limits.

A house only surrounded by rice paddies and nature

　Outside the window, there is nothing for more than 10 kilometers. The rice fields are spread out, and one of Japan's 100 most famous mountains, Mt. Makikomi (1,967 m), is located directly in front. If the timing is right, the full moon will rise from there. 　You can relax while feeling the wind crossing the rice fields in the midst of the magnificent view. 　In early spring, the rice fields with water become like mirrors, green in summer, and golden in autumn. In the second half of October, the top of Mt. Makikomi is covered with snow, and the middle slopes are colored with autumn leaves. And in winter, it is covered with about 2 meters of snow. 　In the rice fields behind the house, we make rice by hand without pesticides, and you can also participate during your stay. 　WiFi is available. There is also a space for you to work. 　You can also cook for yourself. There are bars, restaurants, and convenience stores within a 20-minute walk (within 1,600 m). Parking space for one regular passenger car in the basement.

Enjoy the view of Lake Nojiri, with a private sauna, Anoie (あの家)

This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

1 min walk from Tokamachi Station. It is a small two-story house. There are many delicious restaurants nearby because it is in the city. There are Japanese-style rooms, Western-style rooms, and a dining room for couples, families, and groups. There is a kitchen, so of course you can cook for yourself. You rent the entire building, so you don't have to worry about sharing it with others. The house only has a shower, but there is a hot spring nearby. (7-minute walk) Ideal for the currently popular workcation. Combined with the adjacent Ume House, it can accommodate up to 8 guests.
