Townhouse holiday rentals in Tōkai Region

The small townhouse has a great retro charm and we enjoyed it very much. Everything was clean and impeccable. Check-in was easy to implement thanks to Megumi's detailed instructions. Communication with her was always very friendly and pleasant. The location is good in itself. It's in a business-like neighborhood. For this, the metro station "Sakuragawa" is only one stop from "Namba"/Dotonbori, which is great for tourists who want to explore Osaka. We had a nice stay and can definitely recommend the place:-)

Great Machiya stay with a traditional feel, but with modern amenities such as heated floor! Also perfect location to explore Kyoto. Tokuji san was always very responsive during communications. Overall, highly recommended!

Natsuko's place was very clean and comfortable, and the surrounding environment was comfortable, so I felt like I was at home. We wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy life on longer stays with lots of good restaurants and cafes. It is also easy to get out by train to Umeda and Namba, and it is quiet because it is far from the center, and there is a very large park nearby, so it is easy to spend time.If you don't like the hustle and bustle of the center like me, or if you want to relax in a more calm place for your vacation, this is your place. Natsuko was very kind and gave me guidance when I checked in and gave me recommendations for shops. I would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay. Our host provided personal detailed instructions and was always available to help. The place was clean and well equiped. We loved the bikes and we're able to visit some of our tour spots with them. The traditional Japanese accommodation was an adventure for us and we liked being in a more local neighborhood setting versus downtown. Thanks to our hosts.

This is an original machiya and full of character. We particularly enjoyed the small garden in the back and the outdoor (but covered and private) walkway to the bath. The location is excellent on a nice quiet street in Kita ward, close to public transportation. Many attractions and very good supermarkets are in easy walking distance. The neighborhood has many nice wooden houses and it is a pleasure to just go for a walk. This part of Kyoto is not overrun by tourists either and we had a very pleasant time. The host, Koichi-san, is a Kyoto native whose family has a long history in the city and he is very happy to share his deep knowledge of the city with guests. Overall an excellent choice for staying in Kyoto -- highly recommended.

We absolutely loved our stay! Akane met us at the house to show us how to use the locks and show us around. She is so friendly and kind, we enjoyed our stay and hope to get to stay here again in the future! The location is great, only a few minutes walk from the mall that has a grocery store and lot of restaurants. Also about a 10-15 minute walk from the Kyoto train station and many bus stops making it easy to travel around the city. Fantastic!

It was like a house that was actually built to live in, not an Airbnb. The exterior is beautiful, but there are some places that are uncomfortable to live in, and it was even better because Egypt was a well considered house to live in as beautiful as it was. Many parts of the house were made of wood, so it smelled very comfortable, and on the second floor, I could enjoy music with the photo artwork and the LP that the photographer chose himself. It's not far from Kanazawa Station, so I think it was a house that met all the features and beauty of the accommodation. Personally, there was a small happening at Kanazawa Station, and I really appreciated that the host actively tried to help. It was a host family as warm as home:) If I ever go back to Kanazawa, it was definitely a place I would like to come back to.

I stayed at this place with a friend for two nights and was really impressed. The Machiya is well kept and in a good location. If I return to Kanazawa, I would be happy to stay here again.

The location of the house is very comfortable. The atmosphere of Kyoto is very good. You can walk to Kinkakuji Temple. What was lacking in the US was that it was very bright at night when sleeping at night with the street light right outside the room window right next door

Keirei's place is fantastic. Very comfortable for a family - a place to spend time together, two separate bedrooms with a comfortable bed and futons, two separate bathrooms and two toilets. Great Japanese style vibe. We were surprised by the number of amenities and amenities in the kitchen and bathroom. Great location, very quiet and peaceful, and around the corner there are bus stops and a walk to the metro, close to restaurants and shops. Great hosts, very kind, and available for every inquiry. I would come back again without thinking. Thanks so much!

Host couple are very friendly and nice Can feel the maintenance and care of the house Little details everywhere This time, it's a six-person building. There are a total of three rooms Two of them are Japanese tatami mats to make their own bed We slept very comfortably ~ The environment is also very quiet There are many restaurants in the neighborhood for example: sushiro Mito coffee and more because we are self-driving ~ so it is quite convenient It was really good value for the price going down on average one person for over seven hundred for one night

we had a great stay, we felt comfortable, we slept well. it was nice to stay in and experience japanese traditional living space. bed was comfortable, heater and heated floor rug kept us warm during the colder weather. space was nice and plenty for the 5 of us. locationwise was great since it was just 2-3 minutes walk to the train station and less than 10 minutes walk to Fushimi Inari shrine entrance. Sorrounding neighborhood was so peaceful. we loved it!

We miss this place already. The instructions were super clear to find the place, it was extremely clean, the neighborhood was private and quiet, and the host was so proactive in helping us + had super quick and kind responses. Would recommend and stay here again in the future :)

The place was just like the pictures and the hosts took care of us by having transportation waiting for us at the train station. The apartment was located close enough to the trains to get wherever you needed to quickly. Check in was a breeze. Highly recommend this place and host. Thanks

I highly recommend Leo’s home. It’s located in an awesome neighborhood very close to Umeda. Despite its proximity to Osaka station the neighborhood is quiet and had a ton of cute shops and restaurants. The home was clean, spacious and perfect for our family of four. I highly recommend Leo’s home.

It was a beautiful house and the host communicated fairly smoothly. Go to Nishikujo Station about 13 minutes and only 2 stops to Universal Studios.Living nearby is also readily available.Will stay again next time to Osaka.

Beautiful architecture, home, and space. Very private and great for a large group. It was very quiet and peaceful for being so close to the city bustle. Endless options for food and drink around! The heated toilet seat and automated lid-opening and flushing felt extra luxurious. We loved our stay!

This place felt like a home away from home. It was well organized and well designed. The neighborhood is a two Minute walk to trains, shops and restaurants. Lin was a fantastic host. Kind,communicative and accessible. Really was sad to leave. Thanks Lin for a wonderful Tokyo stay.

This was our favorite place we stayed in Japan. It was larger than expected inside with a dining table and two spaces for tea. The sleeping area was also spacious and relaxing with shoji screens on all the windows. The neighborhood is very quiet and private with a nice stone path inside the gate. It's a 5 minute walk to Kyomizu-dera template, and 20 minutes to Gion. Walking back at night through the side streets is especially pleasant compared to staying in a hotel downtown.

Cost-effective with more comfort than you can imagine The surrounding environment was also relaxed, and we had a very fulfilling trip.

Everything was great.Proximity, surroundings, handling, facilities in the house, water pressure, cleanliness.I'd love to stay again!
