In the middle of the North Sea, one hour from Gothenburg. Two ferries away. At the far end of the coast with the sunset on horizon – a few meters from the wild sea. When the sun goes down, a starry sky is lit. Hyppeln is a genuine archipelago island. A living community. One of ten inhabited islands in Öckerö. Breathtakingly beautiful both in the storm and quiet. In the marina, there is a tavern, a barbecue area, a small shop and a fort on the top. The house has what you need in the form of cooking equipment, bed linen and towels.

Welcome to Ulseröd, a small oasis with proximity to the sea and forest close to the center of Lysekil. Here you live comfortably with tiled bathrooms, small laundry room, modern kitchen with social surfaces and spacious sofa. There are two bedrooms on the entrance floor as well as a sleeping loft that is perfect for children and young people. Outside the cottage there is a terrace with outdoor furniture. We hope you will be staying! Bed linens and towels are brought by guest, or rented by us for 100 SEK per set.

The house lies between pink granite rocks with beautiful views over the surrounding nature. 25 min by car to Lysekil and 5 min to the closest grocery store. Brodalen is the Mekka of Swedish rockclimbing with several wellknown routes. The location also offers vicinity to hiking paths in the forests with walking distance to Röe Gård. Please note that you need to bring your own bed linen as well as clean the house at the end of your visit.

Our nice island is a real archipelago idyll. There are no cars, just houses, small boat ports, walking paths, our famous boat, Bohuslän cliffs and salty swimming in one of our nice swimming areas. Nevertheless, it is easy and easy to get to central Gothenburg with everything the city has to offer.
