Cozy cottage with an idyllic location and fantastic views. Beautiful Tuddal, Bondal and Gaustatoppen as hiking areas. The cabin has 4 bedrooms, kitchen and living room in open solution, bathroom and toilet room and sauna. Inlaid electricity, water. The cabin all for themselves and makes for tranquility, good times, family life, play and fun. There is a private parking space for 2 cars and path from here and up to the cabin - about 150 meters and 4-5 minutes to walk. The path is right behind the parking lot and runs through magical forest terrain - both summer and winter

Idyllic place on Gøynes by Lake Tinnsjøen

The cabin is located by Tinnsjøen lake with parking right beside it. It is 6 kilometers from Mæl ferry rental in the direction of Atrå. It is 17 kilometres to Rjukan, 25 kilometres to Gaustatoppen mountain and beautiful mountain areas. Beautiful views, plenty of sun. There is no running water in the cabin, but water tap just outside. Free wood for the wood stove. When there's frost and freezing temperatures, there's no water in the tap outside. Water must be collected from the host. Rowing boat is available for free. Outboard motor 1-3 days NOK 400,-

Welcome to our cabin! 😊 The cabin is located on the sunny side of Gaustatoppen, and is located about 870 meters above sea level. It has stunning views of three waters and the mountains. 😊 Right on the down side of the cabin is worthwhile Tuddal mountain hotel. This is a historic hotel well worth a visit. Attached municipal water and drainage, with fresh and well water in the tap. NB! BED LINEN and TOWELS must BE BROUGHT, but can be rented for an additional fee of NOK 100 per person. Bed sizes: 1x180cm, 1x150cm, 1x 120cm, 3x 75cm

Included: Bed linen, towels, electricity and laundry. Lita cottage located on a farm with a wonderful view of the lake Totak and the mountains. We live in one of the houses in the yard. Another house has two apartments rented out on AIRBNB.("Rofshus" and "Rofshus 2") In the summertime, there is access to a table, chairs and barbecue outdoors. Rauland has 140 km of uphill ski slopes, 5 min by car. 10 min to the ski center. 5 min by car to Rauland city center with shops and electric car charger. Great hiking terrain summer/fall.

Wonderfull cabin with spectacular views.

Hva med å slappe av på en koselig liten hytte i skogen. Nærmeste nabo er en gård som ligger ca 300 m unna. Med bilvei helt frem til hytta og garasje, flott uteplass og kveldssol. Helt fantastisk utsikt, blant annet til Gaustatoppen. Ett soverom med dobbeltseng og dør og en mindre sovealkove med brede køyesenger. Alt dere trenger på kjøkkenet. Jeg og broren min leier ut hytta vår i vakre Hovin i Telemark. Vi gleder oss til å ønske deg velkommen!

Charlotte's apartment is beautiful🤩. We were there mainly to go to Gaustatoppen, and it was a very nice distance to it. The best thing was that we could bring the dog. She loved the view from the balcony ☺️ Charlotte was also very helpful with questions that we had in advance. I recommend everyone to stay in this apartment 🙂

Wholehearted recommendation!! We have had a fantastic stay in Peter and Vibeke's little gem of a cottage on the mountain! Of course, you have to be prepared for the primitive life, without electricity and running water... and with the possibility of carrying everything you bring 500 m up the mountain to the cabin :) BUT in return you get a peaceful and spectacular stay in the middle of the forest high up on the mountainside. Ovenikøbet with sauna option and the finest pool in the middle of the basin. Peter gave quick and precise instructions that solve the small problems we ran into. We can highly recommend a trip to the cottage at Hovin!!

Fantastic treehouse! Comfortable for 6 adults due to the cabin's functional design. Good facilities for cooking. Idyllic surroundings with views of a trickling stream, chirping birds and jumping squirrels. Magnus was very friendly and resolved in our misunderstandings about the cabin's water supplies, responded quickly and was service minded. Good location with proximity to Dalen for historical hike and lunch/dinner at the hotel, as well as Lårdal sauna and swimming in the lake. Unique experience recommended!

What a great place and what a great cottage. We take care of everything, down to the smallest details. Everything has been done to make the guests happy. You'll feel right at home. And we will definitely come back. Anne Marie was a very friendly and hospitable woman. For us, the best place ever in Norway where you can breathe in Norwegian freedom.
