We had a good stay at Arthur's place in Rjukan. Conveniently located for visiting Gaustatoppen, Vemork, or other area attractions.

Fantastic property that I can highly recommend! The apartment is cozy and homely with a wonderful view of Gaustatoppen. Ski tracks with green difficulty, suitable for all ages and skills are right on the corner. Even a green alpine slope is right outside the apartment. Simply ski in ski out in its true sense.

Our stay at Maria's apartment was simply perfect. Warm house, very cozy and everything matching the description provided. Maria is extremely helpful and responsive, we asked for various information and always responded in a short time. We were in Rjukan to climb on ice and it was really nice to come back and take a hot shower. Kitchen equipped with all the necessary appliances. Impeccable cleanliness. We slept perfectly, very comfortable beds and silence in the surrounding area. Highly recommend!!!

Very nice apartment that is brand new, good beds, and we had everything we needed! I want to stay there again and also recommend it to others. It was lovely to come to freshly made beds and clean towels. Nothing is missing. Good opportunities to cook and nice space in the winter garden with a view to drink coffee. I must add that there was a lift there that should not be used, but definitely handicap accessible if possible. This also applies to the bathroom.

Great place to stay right on the main hill. Best location in Gausta. Wonderful views and modern and nice apartment with lovely terrace. We have previously stayed in the second part of Gausta and this was much better if you want to ski a lot and leave the car at home. We would be glad to come back.

Johan's apartment is very comfortable, bright, spacious and well heated, with the luxury of having a washing machine available. It has a beautiful view of the Gaustastoppen and for those who love the mountains it is paradise. On the other hand, don't go there at night, the street names are not displayed and the GPS shows anything.

A really nice apartment that works perfectly. Very well equipped and it is possible to store skis on the ground floor in private enclosure. Ski-in/ski-out works optimally - however, be aware that you start on the black part of piste 22, which however very quickly turns red. However, there are shuttle buses to other areas if too difficult for some family members😊 Definitely an apartment and area we would be happy to come back to!

I stayed at Terje’s place with my three daughters for a ski holiday at Gausta and found the place to perfect. We liked staying in Rjukan and simply using the shuttle bus to the skiing center instead of staying at an overpriced and generic hut or hotel. Terje was super proactive, service minded and friendly. Big recommendation!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and cozy Airbnb! The place was warm and inviting, with a stunning view of the nearby waterfall — truly a treat to wake up to. The amenities were top-notch: we enjoyed relaxing in the Jacuzzi, unwinding in the massage chair, and having fun with the table tennis setup. There were plenty of games and activities to keep the kids entertained too. Grilling outside was a highlight of our trip, and the whole experience felt peaceful and private. The location is also perfect — very close to Gaustatoppen, which made our outings convenient and scenic. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking to relax and recharge in nature!

We stayed 6 days in June. The house is beautifully located, great views and close to several hikes which we enjoyed. Also cultural activities are possible , we visited Vemork and the stave church in Heddal. The house is well equipped, complete kitchen and comfortable sitting lounge. Martine and Frederik helped us effectively with all our questions.

Rjukan is an interesting place because of history and the flat is a very good point of start to visit it. The flat gives you all you need for a short stay.

As expected from pictures. Easy to find. Kjell reached out in advance of your stay with practical info. Possibilities for ski in / ski out. Plenty of space for parking, we had 3 cars. Note; the cabin is connected to another cabin. Shared bee entrance, but the rest is separated. Were people at the neighboring cabin, but we heard very little from them.

A beautiful, quiet apartment, yet centrally located in this charming village. A large living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a king-size bed and comfortable bedding, and a bathroom with underfloor heating. A dishwasher and washing machine are also included. Everything is very clean and in perfect condition. Siw is an attentive host, very responsive and offers helpful tourist advice. I'm particularly thinking of the Lega bakery!!! Parking is in front of the apartment, and shops and charging stations are very close. A big thank you to Siw; we had a wonderful week.

We've had 5 amazing days in Gausta. We have climbed Gaustatoppen, hiked in the area, bathed in the lake and sailed. The apartment's location and incredible views are clearly what has made the holiday something special. Ingvild is a great and thoughtful host. We'd love to come again. Lovely apartment in the centre of Rjukan village. We came over for ice climbing so location was great and around 25m drive from the ski resort. Town is very quiet with not many restaurants but local grocery stores are very well stuffed. Apartment is well equipped ideal for cooking at home. It has a cozy fireplace but similar to many other apartments in Norway, it does not have a heater in the bedroom. Bedroom can be a little chilly in winter but there is a foldable couch in the living room, right next to the fireplace. Ole was very friendly and responsive, never had any issues. I would stay again!
