There is a short distance to the mountains, Tinnsjøen, bike tours and tours in the surrounding area. During summertime you can swim and fish in the river just below. The tourist municipality offers varied experiences and activities for everyone.

The cabin is located by Tinnsjøen lake with parking right beside it. It is 6 kilometers from Mæl ferry rental in the direction of Atrå. It is 17 kilometres to Rjukan, 25 kilometres to Gaustatoppen mountain and beautiful mountain areas. Beautiful views, plenty of sun. There is no running water in the cabin, but water tap just outside. Free wood for the wood stove. When there's frost and freezing temperatures, there's no water in the tap outside. Water must be collected from the host. Rowing boat is available for free. Outboard motor 1-3 days NOK 400, -

Amazing views of Gaustatoppen. The unique thing about this cabin is that it is not located in a cabin area, there is nature and tranquility and birdsong as the closest neighbors. The cross-country ski trails start right at the parking lot, and from there it is about 300 meters to the alpine resort. Note: There is a walk from the parking lot up to the cabin, 150 meters in summer/250 meters in winter, it is steep the first bit, so it is NOT suitable if you are bad at walking. Approximately 1.5 km to Gaustablikk mountain hotel.

Simple but charming log cabin right on the waterfront. One room, bunk bed, dining table, fridge and wood stove. Road to the door. Suitable for 1 - 2 persons. Good starting point for great day trips in beautiful nature! There are duvets and pillows in the cabin, but you must bring your own sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases and towels. The cabin has a fridge and a hot plate. Access to shared bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. The cabin is cleaned, dishes are put back in place and garbage is emptied on departure.

Short distance to all amenities at Gaustablikk. There has been maintenance on the building this summer, but it is finished now. Cleaning can be ordered for NOK 500
