Access to the lake (Wangermeer) is granted at any time via the private beach. The lake is a swimming lake, but is also suitable for paddle boarding. In the cottage of Oogstwold you can relax. It is the perfect base on the outskirts of the Oldambtmeer. It is very characteristic, old and new elements come together. The cottage (75m2) is completely independent with its own parking space and front door (including the possibility for contactless check-in). The cottage can accommodate 2 to max 4 people. Due to height differences, steep stairs and varying ceiling heights, it is not accessible to people with mobility impairments.

Ihlowerfehn is an ideal location to explore all of East Frisia. Various coastal regions can be reached in about 45 minutes by car. In the immediate vicinity is a restaurant with beer garden as well as a beautiful playground.
