We had a wonderful stay at James' cottage. Great location, peaceful with lovely views out the front. The cottage was light, welcoming, clean and well equipped. We quickly felt at home. James is a responsive and friendly host and made things very easy. This is a great place to stay, which we thoroughly recommend.

The Retreat - escape & enjoy

JamesRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Nicky’s cabin was a gem and the perfect way to spend a relaxed weekend. The place was peacefully secluded. Tucked away surrounded by trees. Super cosy interior and serene surroundings. Nicky was a warm, responsive host who made everything easy. We left feeling recharged and already thinking of a future visit.

Garden studio with a view

HadiRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean with a lovely view from the window and a beautiful, peaceful garden. Lisa was super friendly and responsive, and her local recommendations were great. We especially enjoyed visiting Skipton and walking along the canal. The restaurants she suggested were also fantastic. Highly recommend this place and would love to come back again!

Smith Cottage in Appletreewick sleeps two

RuthRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Situated in a perfect spot for beautiful walking from the village, Smiths cottage is warm and cosy, a generous size for two, tastefully furnished and equipped with everything you need. There is ample parking and a pretty garden and patio with wonderful views of Wharfedale. You can stroll to two pubs- we had a delicious traditional steak and ale pie at the Craven Arms. There is a useful friendly basic supplies shop at the nearby campsite, which also has a little cafe and ice cream spot. We walked to Burnsall and Hebden along the River Wharfe on our first day- glorious scenery and bird song all around. The climb up behind the Craven Arms over the hills to Troller’s Gill and through the valley to Skyreholme was well worth the effort for the vistas and for a visit to the fabulous Parcevall Hall Gardens, with its Love Brownies tea room for refreshment before the walk back along the River Wharfe via Howgills to the cottage. Sunny weather too! God’s own country indeed. Thank you Lorren.

Yorkshire Dales Converted Barn

RosieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had the most amazing stay at Cheryl’s beautiful barn conversion. The barn is tastefully designed and furnished, combining modern with old, and is so well equipped - the kitchen appliances are amazing and the beds are so comfy too! We were a family of three adult couples, our sons and there respective partners, and we particularly loved the way the three double bedrooms (one double was downstairs in the snug) were so well spaced out that gave us our own personal space and own bathrooms. We were visiting for a family reunion, with my family who are originally from Ilkley, and with my sister now living in Addingham and my brothers staying close by, we all loved getting together at the barn ahead of our days out, cooking breakfast together (the kitchen is very sociable with its big kitchen island so we could all help prepare food together) and then eating breakfast in the garden. A big thank you to Cheryl & all your help. We will definitely be back. we truly had a magical stay,

Stunning countryside location near Harrogate

KarenRating, 5 starstoday
The cottage is a beautiful annexe off the main house in a gorgeous setting. It is tastefully decorated, cosy yet airy, with everything we needed. Julie is welcoming and friendly and she left clear instructions. We had a peaceful seating area overlooking their huge garden...perfect for a leisurely breakfast. There are plenty of walks round about and a great local pub within walking distance. An added bonus for us was their two adorable dogs.

Your New Favourite Place

ElspethRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
One of the most peaceful places we’ve ever stayed. Clean, spacious, the bedding was extremely high quality and the room has blinds and curtains so it was pitch black. On arrival we saw a rabbit on the lawn, then a woodpecker flew to the apple trees outside the door, and every kind of garden bird. The best choice for a quiet relaxed weekend away.
