Here the whole family can enjoy swimming at their own beach, have access to their own jetty, rowboat and canoe. Free fishing is available in our lake Lillsjön. The cottage is beautifully situated close to the forest where mushrooms and berries are available for picking. Proximity to the Klarälven river where you can rent a canoe for a trip on the Klarälven river. Close to Selma Lagerlöf's Mårbacka, Rottneros Park, Sommarland in Sunne. In the cottage, there is an information binder that tells you about the activities and attractions that are nearby.

Farm in beautiful Värmland

In scenic and culturally rich Östra Ämtervik, this unique and beautiful Värmlandsgård with origins from the 19th century is located. Here you can experience a rural environment overlooking vast meadows and fields. Along the gravel road down to Lake Fryken, there are swimming opportunities. In the beautiful forest mushrooms and berries can be picked. The farm is an eight-minute drive to Sunne, where you will find a wide range of cafés, restaurants, shops and shopping. In winter, you can cross-country ski. The nearest ski slope is Hovfjället (55 min)

Lakefront cottage with boat, beach and private jetty

Spacious holiday home with lake property. Completed in 2017 with a bright and open plan with all possible amenities. There is access to a boat and a lovely swimming jetty. Lake perfect for fishing! Charcoal grill is available to borrow for barbecue evenings that you can spend on a lovely deck with lake view. The house has a larger bedroom with a double bed and a smaller bedroom with a bunk bed with a larger bed at the bottom. In the loft, there is a regular bed as well as a comfortable mattress on the floor. AC is available for hot days.

Beautifully remodeled barn by Lake Fryken

Welcome to Insta @Frykstaladan. It is located 50 meters from the fairytale lake Fryken's southern end. This unique place has a style all its own that has emerged over the five years that we have been rebuilding the barn. High ceilings and plenty of space both inside and out. FredrikLars farm at Nordmarksbergs Mansion

FredrikLars-gården adjacent to Nordmarksbergs Herrgård: 19th century or older. In this farm, the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – 1790) has lived. On a rock in the grounds of the farm, there should be a curtain with the name of Nils. Picture of this stone can be found in Värmlandsarkiv's photo archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present day. It's probably hidden by mortar that's been covered over the rocks.

Dream house near the lake with its own Jacuzzi

This newly-built unique accommodation, my home, is located in the heart of Värmland. Fantastic views of Lake Glafsfjorden with sunsets that are irresistibly beautiful. Large wooden deck with its own Jacuzzi. Just a few hundred meters to the lake. Cows and calves are in the pasture that you have to go through to get down to the lake. The beach is rocky. I have an older rowboat by the lake that you can use freely. The boat is a little worn but works. Good fishing.

Here is a completely newly built house (year of construction: 2025) with stylish exterior/interior for those of you who want peace and quiet. Only the trees are neighbors! The house is interesting to rent for both families and smaller groups such as golfers, hikers, cultural visitors, etc.

Enjoy a charming cozy stay close to nature with your own woodfire. There is a fully functioning kitchen and living room space downstairs with views on the forest behind the house - look for deer in the morning! There are enough plates, cutlery; pots and pans, for 4 people. Separate toilet and shower rooms are upstairs, with 2 bedrooms. Don’t forget to take advantage of the Sauna by the lake, and the woodfired outdoor bath next to it!
