Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Thue et Mue

Week end en famille chez Annabelle, nous avons pu visiter les musées, batteries et belles plages du débarquement. Bien situé à proximité de Sword, Juno et Gold beach. Logement très fonctionnel et charmant, nous y avons passé un très bon moment. À refaire !

Celine's place is fantastic! There was plenty of room for our family of 5. House was clean, nicely decorated and kitchen was well stocked to prepare dinner after a trip to the grocery store. Beds were comfortable and the view of the English Chanel was great! Location was excellent! Short drive to D-Day activities and Bayeux. It was a short walk down to the English Channel, which made for very relaxing evenings. House was very easy to find and operating the lock box was easy as well. Everything was as described and we were very pleased with our experience overall. Highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

house is really beautiful and in a perfect location. we enjoyed our stay. Despite language issues ( as I dont speak french) we were able to communicate with googl translate and she made us feel inclusive

Vanaf begin een warm welkom van Julie, en een warm gevoel bij het binnenkomen van het huis. Een mooi, gezellig ingericht huis, met alle voorzieningen. Gelegen in een rustige, groene omgeving. Veel privacy, grote tuin waar de kinderen konden spelen. De ligging van het huis is gunstig, om te combineren met trips in Normandie. Zoals bijvoorbeeld de invasiestranden, Honfleur. Wij hebben intens genoten van het huis, een ervaring om niet te vergeten!!

We LOVED our stay in Sommervieu. The house was simply idyllic, surrounded by flowers and with a nearby (but not too close!) field of friendly cows wandering by. The house itself was very quiet, comfortable, and fully equipped, with everything one would need in the kitchen, loads of books and games, and firewood for a roaring fire. We didn’t use the bikes or outdoor seating because the weather didn’t cooperate, but would love to come back and try them someday. Sophie and François were super attentive, offering local suggestions and also pointers for when we moved on to Paris, suggesting a restaurant in Paris where we later had a delicious lunch! Thank you so much for hosting us, we hope to come back!

Le logement est accueillant, très propre, décoré avec goût et les nombreux couchages nous ont permis de passer un très bon week-end anniversaire. Les chambres en enfilade n'ont pas posé problème pour notre WE entre amis. La fourniture des draps et serviettes est très appréciable. La cuisine et le logement sont très bien équipés avec une épicerie de base à disposition. Nous avons pu arriver en avance car le logement n'était pas occupé avant nous. La météo ne nous a pas beaucoup permis de profiter des installations extérieures. Le jacuzzi est un bonus que nous avons particulièrement apprécié. Seul inconvénient lors de notre séjour : la N13 qui est à proximité peut être bruyante selon les moments de la journée.

Je recommande à 100% ce logement. Céline notre hôte était réactive et très amicale. Toutes les instructions étaient claires et le logement conforme aux photos et à nos attentes. Très bien situé et très bien équipé, nous étions avec des enfants en bas âges, nous avions tout ce qu’il fallait. Merci beaucoup pour cette parenthèse normande dans ce très joli cadre.

What a perfect stay we have had, truely outstanding. The cottage was so pretty, clean and beautifully furnished. The location was excellent for exploring the vast history and beautiful Normandy countryside. Rodolphe and his family were extremely welcoming, friendly and on hand to offer any help or recommendations. We really enjoyed every minute and would love to return next year. Highly recommend. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Romain Et Céline's AirBnb was a lovely little retreat in Caen. You can reach it from the train station with a 30 minute walk or you can take the tram which gets you there in about 10-15 minutes. The location is in the center of the city. It is a five minute walk to several restaurants for dinner and you are never further than 20-25 minutes walk from most of the popular tourist sites. The listing itself had all the promised amenities. There was not much sound at night so we all slept well. Three of us comfortably used the space. The internet was also able to handle all of us using it at the same time. The shower also had good water pressure and hot water. The check-in instructions were easy to follow and the check-out instructions were quite reasonable. Romain messaged to ask how our stay was going was quick to respond whenever I had questions. I had a wonderful time and would be happy to rent this AirBnb again.

It's a delightful little paradise! The apartment is snug and cozy, the garden beautiful and peaceful. I had a lot of fun during the short (or sometimes longer) chats with Guy. It's clear that he is passionate about the region and has a lot to tell about it. I had a little less contact with Jocelyn, but she is very friendly as well. To be honest, I felt a bit like staying at my grandparents, which was a nice feeling. The location is perfect. A lovely hiking trail passes right in front of the door. All the 'big sights' of Normandy are in reach within a day-trip. All in all I enjoyed my time there a lot and I definitely hope to come back another time.

Nous recommandons ce logement: cosy, propre et bien rangé, de la place pour les affaires, bien situé,… Tout est fait pour se sentir chez soi mais en mieux. Il y a même une jolie cheminée électrique. Nous reviendrons et avons hâte de séjourner de nouveau au Chalet d’été. Nous remercions Magda pour sa réactivité et sa communication fluide et conviviale (et bravo pour la propreté!).

Cozy unique apartment with beautiful view to an old church. It is also in a beautiful shopping street with pubs and restaurants. The aparment itself has everything you need, and you get alot of value for your money. The owner answers quick and with clear instructions. Would definitely stay here again!

Light, bright open flat with fully stocked kitchen, large dining table and comfy sofa living room. Bedrooms were large (we had the single studio next door - separate key required) as well. Instructions were clear, housekeeper was prompt in responding to check in time and inquiries. It is on the 3rd floor above ground level so be prepared for lots of steps (the last flight is quite narrow) Location right next to grand hotel with beach entrance across the street and walkable to all the restaurants and shops. Great stay!

Great place to stay. Very good location, very walkable with lots of restaurants and things to do right around the corner. The apartment was very nice and VERY high value. Well worth the low price we paid. Marie was an excellent host, very accommodating and friendly. I would stay here again if I came through the area!

Il n’est pas facile de trouver un logement pour une réunion de famille ou amis. Ici tout y est. Nombre de chambres et lits, équipements de loisirs pour les petits et les grands, vaisselle sièges eux tout en nombre pour un grand groupe. C’est propre. Ma jardin est joli , comme la maison. Great place to stay with our family. The house is just like the pictures. It is very comfortable! The location is great as well. We saw Normandy beaches, Mont. St. Michel, and Bayeaux. I would highly recommend this lovely home if you are in the area!

The cottage was everything advertised and more. Beds were very comfortable; literature was provided for local attractions, groceries restaurants; emergency contacts, etc. Loved the horses on their breeding farm, and the serene rural setting - just the perfect distance from everything we came to see. Our gracious host, Venessa, was bilingual and spoke English, which made communicating with her much easier. The kitchen as well as the entire cottage was beautifully furnished with everything we needed. She had even provided games, and other children items -which we didn’t need - but we appreciated seeing the details given to the needs of visiting families. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool or hot tub, but would have enjoyed spending time at both amenities, given more time for our trip. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone desiring to travel to the Normandy area of France.

Wir haben zu 6 (+Kleinkind und Hund) Weihnachten und Neujahr bei Marianne verbracht! Es ist ein schönes,gemütliches und modernes Haus mit Meerblick! Jedes Paar hat seinen eigenen Bereich inkl. Badezimmer. Der vollumzäunte Garten war super für unseren Hund und der Kamin hat die richtige Stimmung gebracht! Der Strand ist fußläufig gut zu erreichen! Mit dem Auto ist man schnell bei Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und ist relativ schnell an allen typischen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Normandie Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen!

An absolute gem located less than a 2 minute walk from the historic Omaha beach. A perfect blend of modern home with traditional beach house great for large families. The hosts are incredibly nice and wonderfully easy to work with. A shining recommendation for anyone considering staying here!

Super séjour maison parfaite environnement idéal et hôte très accueillant

Wir haben das Haus so vorgefunden, wie wir es vorgestellt wurde und wie wir es erwartet haben. Der Hausteil ist gut und sympathisch eingerichtet. In der Küche fehlte es an nichts. Sehr gut gefallen hat uns der Wintergarten. Hier hätte ich allerdings im Hochsommer bedenken, da eine Abschattung des Glasdaches nicht möglich war. Ich kann diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen.
