There is one king size bed and a double sofa bed. If you require the sofa bed for one night ONLY please supply your own bedding/towels for it. The 'Old Apothecary' is a grade II listed ground floor apartment located in Church Square, Melbourne. It has been lovingly renovated and opened to our first guests in October 2022. Located in the curtilage of Melbourne Hall, just a 2-minute walk from the centre of Melbourne (a beautiful Georgian market town with a fabulous selection of pubs, cafes, restaurants & shops). The apartment is divided into a living room, kitchen, shower room and cosy bedroom which sleeps 2 people in a double bed.

Ticknall is just 2miles away, with beautiful walks through National Trust Calke Abbey and Anchor Church caves which is just a stones throw away. The cottage is self contained, with new facilities and open plan living. The stone walls, oak beams and vaulted ceiling with 3 sky light windows create a light spacious feeling.On evenings to enjoy being cosy, there is a electric log burner while you relax.
