This is our wooden shack, hidden away in our little corner of Norfolk. Stay here and share some of the country idyll that we love. This is a peaceful, remote position, and we treasure the space, nature and peace we’re surrounded by - and hope you will too. The Shack has been built, fitted and furnished using up-cycled, re-cycled, reclaimed, new, old, vintage, shabby, retro, re-purposed or anything different or quirky. We’re constantly adding to it. No telly. Limited WiFi. Time out, guaranteed.

The coastal retreat is tucked away at the bottom of the garden. It has its own parking space which you access from the marshes. It is the perfect mix of quiet retreat and town life You can open the gate and walk straight out onto the marshes and down to the river. Or take the five min stroll into town and enjoy the beach, restaurants and all Aldeburgh has to offer. It is good for couples and solo adventurers. This utterly delightful Georgian cottage sits beside the most beautiful area of Aldeburgh Beach. Perfectly positioned in a sunny spot, tucked just off Aldeburgh High Street, and only steps away from the stairs that access the breathtakingly beautiful sea and shingle beach. Decorated to the highest specification, The Chocolate-Box features a roll-top bathtub, bespoke kitchen, cosy fireplace and a wonderful old oak dining table, a mahogany writing desk and sun-trap courtyard.
