Converted stable in the middle of the woods. Very private and simple with no electricity or shower. Perfect for people looking for a break from society. Please bring your own bedding and food as it’s a true DIY experience! If you are a larger group of people you can bring tents. Great location for biking, hiking and star gazing. Your neighbours will be emus who are curious and beautiful creatures. There is a compost toilet and a tap with cold drinking water. Any questions please ask

It's ideally located for exploring the North Yorkshire Moors, steam railway, the coast and the historic walled city of York. Located on one of the main roads in Pickering (sometimes there will be traffic noise) the tree lined street of Eastgate is beautiful in all seasons and the town centre is a 5 minute walk away. Visit one of the fantastic pubs or catch a steam train to Whitby.
