Lovely cottage, very clean and comfortable , well equipped and had everything we needed for a weeks stay. Although the cottage is by a road Fettercairn is very quiet and there was ample parking for 2 large cars. I imagine in summer it would be lovely to sit out in the garden. There was a lovely welcome pack of milk, bread, eggs, tea and coffee and treats for our two dogs. Hans was very good at communicating with us. The only disappointment was that the pub which people were raving about was shut….

Another great stay in Edzell. The flat was all decorated for Christmas and looked very festive and sparkling. There were even free mince pies! Andy is a wonderful host and this place is a wee gem.

We had a great stay, we booked the cottage as a base for hiking Mount Keen and some of the other Glen Esk routes. The cottage was just what we needed, hot shower, comfortable, selection of dvds, and a hot shower. The enclosed garden was great for the dogs.
