Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Tendring District

We had an absolutely wonderful family weekend in Victoria’s beautiful farmhouse. There was everything we needed and the kitchen was very well equipped. All the bedrooms were great and the garden is beautiful - the children loved the trampoline! We also loved having the cats around - very friendly! Thank you so much. We had a great time!

Comfortable home in peaceful location but near to the beach, very pet friendly. Mersea island is a lovely location. Plenty of lovely pubs within 10min walking distance. Mel is a fantastic host, very friendly and goes out of her way to make your holiday special.

This house is delightful, and I would strongly recommend it - it was everything and more. The bedrooms are charming, the kitchen is wonderful, the rooms are impressive, and the garden is superb. We enjoyed a relaxing Bank Holiday weekend here. Lyndsay's was proactive and responsive, providing great tips before we arrived and was helpful during our stay. The house is fantastic. Lots of room and the garden was large enough for the children to run around! All the necessary amenities provided. Location is ideal as well...right next to a chocolate cafe but also for some nearby walks and beaches. We really enjoyed our stay. Would happily recommend.

Mark was a gracious and responsive host. Mark pro-actively checked- in with me regarding the comfort and satisfaction of the flat. The flat was clean, comfortable and as pictured. The location felt safe and is an idea location close to the train and within walking distance to lovely shops, cafes and restaurants. Should I return to Southend-On-Sea, I would book again.

Can't recommend this beautiful little gem highly enough. We came up to stay here as were attending a wedding locally and it was perfect in every way. Quiet, secluded but not off the beaten track and easy to find. Beautiful views, super clean and everything had been thought of. Our hosts were kind, thoughtful and friendly. We feel like we've had a mini holiday, The Lily Pad made our weekend very special. We will be back I hope next time we come up to visit.

this is a review on behalf of my nephew and his g/f who due to a domestic issue i had to de-camp them to somewhere other than my home. nikkis places was well described and more than reasonable, in fact it was quite a bit cheaper than the local chain hotels. comms were good through out and she was warm and welcoming when i dropped them both off. they said the room was perfect, clean, well presented and comfortable and nikki was always on hand and friendly throughout. The only thing they mentioned was it would have been nice to have a small fridge somewhere in the room, this of course is personal preference. they were both sad to leave, but leave they must. i cant thank nikki enough especially as the booking was done with only 24hrs notice of their arrival. i/we would happily recommend staying here if you are in the area

Anna’s was such a wonderful place to stay for a few days. Very private and quiet, but close to so many attractions if one decided to be adventurous. The space was clean, warm and welcoming. And the hot tub was just the icing on the cake after a long day exploring. We would definitely stay here again and happily recommend to friends and family.

Lovely hut in a lovely spot. Perfect for a weekend away. The hut was exactly as described and there were a few extra nice touches the hosts provided. Use of a pair of bicycles was great and we enjoyed exploring the area. We would greatly recommend this place and we hope to return at some point in the future.

Fabulous stay at Charlotte and James (just one night unfortunately) - wonderful property with the added delight of James' Healing Pool - one terrific achievement. Great stay. Great story. Perfect Airbnb.

Literally the perfect place for a weekend getaway — hot tub, bbq, and firepit - plus a walk to a good pub nearby. Had an amazing time and all went very smoothly. Will definitely be coming back!

The place if you want a quiet, peaceful getaway surrounded by the best of the Suffolk countryside. We had amazing weather for our one night stay. The bath was brilliant (takes a while to fill, bear in mind). The cabin was cosy and homely. I can imagine a winter stay would be equally wonderful. Being a Sunday evening and wanting a more substantial meal than was available at the closer (and offering food), we walked the The Poachers Pocket. About 1hr 10 mins at a leisurely pace along quiet lanes and bridleway. Looked like there was all you'd need to cook at the cabin and a large fridge. Would recommend to family and friends.

Had a lovely time , wish we could have stayed longer very responsive host , very clean , not expensive and exactly as advertised. We were also running a bit late at check out time and the host graciously extended the time at no extra cost … also a cheeky bottle of Prosecco in the fridge which was a nice touch . We will be staying again

I cannot recommend Claire’s lodges enough!!! Absolutely stunning location. The accommodation was superb! Everything you could possibly want for a relaxing getaway! Although there are about 5 lodges within easy reach of each ether it felt like we were completely alone. It was perfect!! I hope we get to return. Thank you so Much Claire. As I explained this was a very important trip and appreciate everything xx
