We’ve traveled all over the world, but this house tops our list. It far exceeded our expectations: spotless, beautifully appointed, with heavenly beds and an incredible setting. The cozy heated floors, well-designed kitchen with a bonus coffee nook, enchanting primary suite fireplace, and stunning views from every bedroom made our stay unforgettable. We loved the huge deck, hot tub, and light-filled dining area overlooking forest, river, and mountains. Visiting in winter for the kids’ ski school was perfect—coming back to this tranquil wonderland after the bustle of town felt magical. It’s close to great amenities yet surrounded by peaceful BLM land. The kitchen layout was wonderfully functional for multiple cooks, with health-conscious cookware and a second dishwasher in the coffee nook. We explored the land by the river, which was breathtaking. We can’t wait to return in summer to leave the windows open and enjoy the soothing sounds.

I cant say enough about this beautiful place! If you want a remote and tranquil get away, this is it. The house, which is the second floor of a barn, was beautifully decorated and very clean. It is very remote, its 25 min drive on dirt roads off the state paved road. Its quiet and many birds and elk around the property. There are other people who live nearby though. The first day there were neighbors cutting wood, which cut some of the quiet. But it didnt last that long. The house sits just behind the "main house" of the host, but he is not there all the time, and very respectful of privacy when he was there. His communication was great though. Even being so remote, there was consistent cell service via satellite wifi. I recommend completely although I want it to be available for me next time. :)

Marta was super responsive and helpful during our stay! The place was very clean, comfortable, and fully appointed. Just a block away from the main street in Ouray with tons of shops and restaurants, as well as a short walk over to the park and hot springs, which we frequented during our stay. This place was awesome! Niki was so kind and great at communicating since the beginning. Our whole group loved it and it was perfect for my wedding party!!!

We loved our stay at Mayra’s place, it had everything we needed and we all felt right at home. Heated bathroom floors and a fantastic shower really hit the spot after a long day on the slopes. It’s a 5 min walk to the chairlift (with ski boots on), so easy to head out and easy to come home at the end of the day. Mayra was super responsive, highly recommend staying here.

Felt right at home. Had everything from the Mountain View’s, bright night sky, peace and quiet, what else could you ask for? I really needed this escape from the city and Texas in general. Rejuvenated my mental state for sure. Really want to move to Colorado and after this trip, I will consider more options to make it happen.

Loved stayed here! Beautiful view of the mountains and lots of parking! My friends and I enjoyed staying here for our friends wedding and it comfortably housed 7 of us! Highly recommend as it was clean and comfy.

This was a lovely place. It was a block from the lift or gondola and was able to ski right down to town and 1 block from the unit. It Bose was super clean well decorated and comfy! Only 1 shower but 2 bathrooms. The kitchen was functional but only had a microwave no oven - which was totally fine for us!! The hot tub was inside and nice…in town that is pretty good! This place is probably the best location if you stay in town!!! So any negatives are relative as this is a great location in town!!!

Great location in the heart of Mountain Village, close to restaurants, ski school, gondola. Madeline has excellent amenities. Patrick was very responsive and ensured a great stay for our family

We loved our stay here! It was beautiful, clean, easy to navigate. We were only a 5 minute walk to the gondola, so we could go in and out of town easily. The place itself was big for 2 people and our pup loved it! Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed our stay!

The location is very convenient, allowing kids to ski in and out with ease. The added convenience of a ski butler service delivering equipment right to your door is a great touch. The hotel’s shuttle drivers are all exceptionally patient and courteous. The rooms are spacious, clean, tidy, and very comfortable.

We had a great time at Molly’s place in Telluride. She’s super responsive and the place was perfect for our group. Comfy beds, great location. Would definitely come back!

This place was absolutely perfect for our weekend getaway with our dogs. Very friendly front desk associate, clean room and bathroom, and our dogs felt very comfortable the whole time. We walked everywhere and there was a perfect walking trail on the other side of the river where we could easily walk our dogs. I would highly recommend this place to anyone with pets.

Just amazing! Not only does the lack of wi-fi bring you back to the 90s, but the local Ouray hot spring was truly healing. A great place to cook a few nice meals (well-appointed kitchen with plenty of condiments and seasonings), enjoy the fireplace and start hiking the minute you leave the door. We travel a lot and have stayed in many places, but few were as pleasurable as this place here in Ouray. It is obvious someone has spent a lot of time and investment fixing up this older home. It is very comfortable quite lovely and the hot tub was awesome!

Charles's place was a perfect mountain getaway for our family!! The cabin is immaculately furnished with everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen and laundry, cozy bedrooms, tv, wifi, games, books and a spacious deck with BBQ. The views were spectacular, complete with the sound of rushing water from the Cimarron River, visiting chipmonks and deer grazing close to the cabin! 🦌🏞 We enjoyed fishing and kayaking at Silver Jack, hiking the East Fork and Wetterhorn Basin Trailheads, and visits to Ouray (Box Canyon & Hot Springs) and Telluride (gondola to Mountain Village). Charles was a superb host - thanks for a wonderful stay!! Highly recommended 🌟🌟

This house was an excellent home base for our first trip to Telluride. It was only my wife and myself, so the house is more than we needed, but we booked late and it looked unique and we weren't disappointed. The layout is very cool and the house is very comfortable. We didn't have time to try the sauna, but the hot tub was nice after some tough hikes. Daniel is a very proactive communicator and checked in with us regularly. Typically we don't care to communicate so much with a host, but Daniel has a great personality and was very knowledgeable about the area, so he provided some valuable guidance for us to plan our days. The kitchen was well stocked with cookwear and a fair amount of spices, oil, etc. The house is a short 20 min drive to downtown Telluride, so if very convenient. It is on the main road to and from town, so there is a bit of traffic noise that is unavoidable. Maybe worth noting for light sleepers. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying again.

If you’re considering booking this Airbnb, you absolutely must! As an avid traveler/frequent Airbnb stayer, I have never ever stayed at such a beautiful, serene, comfortable, unique, peaceful, & magical Airbnb. It was truly breathtaking and an experience like no other! From the views to the very quiet location, I loved every minute we spent here. It was SO quiet and beauty surrounded us. We walked the neighborhood, and we enjoyed being “off the grid.” It was one of the best experiences of my life, and I am so grateful that there are Airbnbs like this. You must stay here. It is truly special and was a major gift for us to stay here! If we return, we will 100% return here!

We loved staying at the cabin! The home was clearly a home, not just a business opportunity. There were so many things available to us - spices in the spice cabinet, blankets on the couch. It was decorated beautifully with very charming cabin-vibes. My one concern (which ended up not being a problem as my parents had their camper van) is that it would have been tight sleeping arrangements for 6 adults and 3 kids. The rooms could all fit pack n plays, but with the two rooms upstairs being adjoined, it would have been too noisy to have 4 adults and 2 kids share the space. But that may be unique to our family dynamics and sensitive sleepers :) otherwise it was totally wonderful. The deck and front lawn chairs were utilized a lot by our crew.
