Loved staying here!! The cabin was very comfortable and cozy. We loved the patio space and view from the porch swing. Great location!! Super close to Main Street. We loved having access to gas station and market. The hot tubs were wonderful as well.

Had a great stay in the cabin. It was clean and exactly as pictured. The area was so beautiful and we enjoyed watching the snow from the porch. Would have loved to stay longer.

This was a great experience to stay in the cabin that we were in.

We had been back country camping and needed a place to stay for a couple days to get some work done and get in a shower. Lots of great amenities with a walking trail that leads to town. Love the front porch swing and picnic table, made for a great place to get a little work done while also still feeling like I was on vacation.

This place was better than the photos! Everything was very clean. Host was helpful and responsive & we loved seeing the deer around the property every day! I definitely want to bring our children with us on the next trip but it was the perfect spot for celebrating our 10 year anniversary!

Very charming. Loved the river and mountains and walkway right outside. We really enjoyed the hot tubs and fire pit. The town of Ouray was super quaint and western old timey with lots of restaurants. Love the view from the top of the town looking back down (just like in the TV series The Ranch)!

We loved our stay at this cabin to visit the nearby Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. We ate breakfast at the cafe the next morning and highly recommend the breakfast burrito with green chiles in it. There’s a stream out back and got a glimpse of the sheep on the other side which was so fun to see! We also fell in love with Marmalade the cat in the cafe. We didn’t get service out there, but there was free WiFi and we brought games and books to occupy ourselves knowing service might be spotty. It was nice to get away from technology for a bit anyways. We would definitely recommend and we would stay again!!

Just amazing! Not only does the lack of wi-fi bring you back to the 90s, but the local Ouray hot spring was truly healing. A great place to cook a few nice meals (well-appointed kitchen with plenty of condiments and seasonings), enjoy the fireplace and start hiking the minute you leave the door. I'd definitely book again. Thanks for sharing your cabin with us, John!

Charles's place was a perfect mountain getaway for our family!! The cabin is immaculately furnished with everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen and laundry, cozy bedrooms, tv, wifi, games, books and a spacious deck with BBQ. The views were spectacular, complete with the sound of rushing water from the Cimarron River, visiting chipmonks and deer grazing close to the cabin! 🦌🏞 We enjoyed fishing and kayaking at Silver Jack, hiking the East Fork and Wetterhorn Basin Trailheads, and visits to Ouray (Box Canyon & Hot Springs) and Telluride (gondola to Mountain Village). Charles was a superb host - thanks for a wonderful stay!! Highly recommended 🌟🌟

Our stay at the cabin was great! Was a beautiful cabin tucked away in the woods and was a much more exciting experience than staying in a hotel. Definitely recommend!

We loved staying at the cabin! The home was clearly a home, not just a business opportunity. There were so many things available to us - spices in the spice cabinet, blankets on the couch. It was decorated beautifully with very charming cabin-vibes. My one concern (which ended up not being a problem as my parents had their camper van) is that it would have been tight sleeping arrangements for 6 adults and 3 kids. The rooms could all fit pack n plays, but with the two rooms upstairs being adjoined, it would have been too noisy to have 4 adults and 2 kids share the space. But that may be unique to our family dynamics and sensitive sleepers :) otherwise it was totally wonderful. The deck and front lawn chairs were utilized a lot by our crew.

My group stayed at Rick’s place for a wedding over the weekend and it was the perfect spot! Rick was an amazing host and went above and beyond to accommodate us. The cabin was clean, well maintained, and in a stunning location. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved the setting. The ability to walk next to the stream, pond, and sheep was fantastic. The room was exactly what we were expecting. Cydney and Tito were amazing hosts.

Excellent location and parking to walk into Ouray town. All amenities were helpful. Only issue was arriving after dark it took circling the block to find it but once done, super convenient and homey. Thanks for helping us see Ouray which was super fun with Via Ferrata and Box Canyon followed by great nearby restaurants to replenish us!

We loved our stay with Cydney and Tito. We were hoping for a little rustic cabin next to the water, in the little town of Cimarron, with signs of ranch life all around… The experience did not disappoint. The map shows this location is clearly next to a road so that was to be expected, but it is also next to a beautiful river, fire pits for those who would like, outdoor seating under the huge trees, and cozy nooks. At the end of the evening the sheep were brought in for the night. As a person who also does lodging, I am truly impressed that they can run tent camping, campers, cabins, a restaurant, and a ranch all at once! Truly, a couple who have put blood sweat and tears into what they have created. One of our most enjoyable getaway overnights of the summer.

Outstanding Stay with Exceptional Hospitality!! Our stay was absolutely superb! We initially booked a standard cabin, but due to an unexpected power outage, the hosts went above and beyond by upgrading us to a luxury cabin at no extra cost. The property associates were incredibly supportive, responsive, and ensured we had everything we needed. The upgraded cabin was beautiful, well-equipped, and made our experience even more memorable. Their outstanding hospitality truly made a difference, and we couldn’t be more grateful. I would definitely return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic getaway!

The hosts at Pleasant Valley were friendly, flexible and very welcoming. The location is right off highway 50, however you feel tucked away surrounded by the beautiful Cimmaron hills and creek. They have a nice country store with all the basic supplies, beverages, recreation info and delicious hand-made pies! We stayed in one of the cozy rustic cabins available there with a lovely view of the creek and mountains out the back window. The owners have sheep who are free to roam in the pastures right behind the cabins and they just had a bunch of adorable little lambs you can watching running around. We loved everything about staying here! I can't say enough good things about our stay. we will definitely be staying here again in the future.

When we saw the fire stove crackling flames as soon as we opened the front door, we felt right at home. The house felt cozy, perfect for our family of 3. We truly enjoyed our stay here in this cute log cabin - we were able to see deer on the property right from the windows. The only downside was the driveway and the parking spaces - we had quite a large pick up truck. We needed to back the truck into the driveway to ensure space for the long term tenants. It was a bit difficult at first due to the snow/ice but we were able to manage. If you plan to come with other parties, having a large truck and a regular sized vehicle will not fit in the parking spaces unless both vehicles are on the smaller side. Otherwise, we were able to feel the true mountain experience of a log house. A must to experience!
