Absolutely perfect venue for a large group of people. Plenty of beds and fantastic social spaces. Loads of facilities and a lovely view. The property is very private and a short 15 walk into the village with some lovely pubs. Margaret was very proactive and made sure our stay was perfect.

Amazing stay. The hot tub is perfect very clean, warm and easy to use. The home itself is lovely, very comfy bed and nice decor. Lots of leaflets and information for the surrounding areas. Couldn’t recommend more.

From start to finish, it was a perfect break—very private and peaceful, with nothing but daily visits from a very curious pheasant, which were warmly welcomed. The lodge was just as pictured and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub as well. Highly recommended, with compliments to our hosts

Our second time at this lovely hideaway in the Shropshire countryside. Not disappointed as this is a lovely place and you feel at home straight away. We were both suffering from colds and Rebecca was very easy to communicate with when we needed more heating. Great place and we plan to be back again next year.

We had a truly wonderful week at Sorrel House. A perfect house for family celebrations. We were celebrating two birthdays and we could bring all our friends and family together over the course of the week. Viki and Kevin are great hosts, very friendly and responsive. The house itself is srunning and beautifully and tastefully decorated with each bedroom having its own individual style. The beds are the most comfortable beds we have slept in. The linen was 100% cotton and felt luxurious. The house was spotless and had everything you could need. Viki and Kevin cooked us a delicious meal one evening. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The pool table was a bonus and was well used and having your own bar was a real novelty. You really do feel like you are staying in your very own hotel. Beautiful walks right outside your door and very dog friendly. All the big stores if you need them only 10 minute drive away. The hot tub was a nice addition too! We hope to return in the future

Both myself and my partner had a lovely stay we couldn't of picked a better place to stay, the accommodation was spotless, the hot tub was lovely and the overall stay was perfect. I would highly recommend to anyone that wishes for a nice relaxing time away, we will definetly be stopping again in the very near future. Thanks Nigel & Debs for such a welcoming stay.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Very peaceful setting to relax In the hot tub. Loved having the cows come to say hello with our morning coffee and the chickens visited regularly. Gem the cat also made frequent visits. Inside the Dairy is surprisingly spacious, everything was nice and clean and perfect for a nice stay of a few days. The bathroom is modern and clean and I love a waterfall shower. The outside space has a bbq and some stunning views of the surrounding areas. You feel like you’re in a nice quiet place in the middle of nowhere but actually it’s only 25 minutes drive to Stoke and there are plenty of small villages and towns to stop in to cafes and pubs, Ideal for our trip to the Peak Wildlife Park. Nathan, Katie and the spaniels were very friendly and welcoming. They left us some eggs and milk from the farm that we absolutely loved. I would 100% stay here again. Possibly my favourite air bnb I have stayed in. Thanks so much!

2nd time staying here and not disappointed on either occasion. Host is very easy to communicate with and made arrival very simple. Accomodation is as described and as the picture shows. Location is great if you like walking, cycling and pubs and would thoroughly recommend the local pub which serves great food and beer.

We had a wonderful stay, we only wish we'd booked for longer. The cottage was beautiful, exceptionally clean, spacious and had everything that we needed and the Aga was wonderful. It was quiet, peaceful and surrounded by beautiful countryside. Victoria provided us with all the information we needed for the cottage and the local area and was available if we needed to make contact. We will definitely be returning soon. Thank you for a wonderful break to celebrate our 20 Year wedding anniversary.

A wonderful stay even better than expected! Such a lovely place in a beautiful setting the perfect countryside escape. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and the Annex had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away. My two children absolutely loved it and are now dreaming of living on a farm! The thoughtful touches like cereal, milk, and coffee waiting for us on arrival really made it feel like a home away from home. Looking forward to returning soon if this little gem is still available!

I used this property as a base for working in the area and glad I did as it was a great location. Did not get out to check the local restaurants but did have a lovely pint at the local pub. Accommodation was fantastic clean with everything I needed and Sasha and John were amazing hosts. Will definitely be coming back here next time I’m in the area.

We stayed at Adrian's place in the May half-term and was really pleased with this find. We were a ten minute drive to Shrewsbury, with plenty to do and eat there. Adrian's place is private and surrounded by fields, so is peaceful and pleasant to just be out in the garden. The accommodation itself is lovely, clean and just what we needed! Adrian was very responsive and answered any and all queries we had. It was lovely to meet him and my partner and son had fun running around with Reggie and Poppy! Overall, a lovely place to stay - would highly recommend! - Thanks Adrian!

What a beautiful place to stay! The pool house is beautiful and the pool was perfect. Alan and Jeff are great hosts, friendly an welcoming. We can't wait to come back.

Beautiful cottage set in wonderful grounds with a playhouse for the little ones. The pool was great too. Such a great place to stay, and under 10 minutes from Ashbourne. Around 30 mins to kid friendly hiking/walking in the Dales. Highly recommend.

The retreat is in a beautiful location , surrounded by hills, countryside and lovely walks. The property was beautifully clean and welcoming and the swimming pool is an amazing facility. Everything was perfect , and we will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay. The open plan upstairs is really comfortable and the main bedroom is spacious and luxurious with the en suite and slipper bath. Hidden downstairs is the unassuming door to the pool! Such a treat to be able to swim before breakfast and before and after dinner. Pool was a great temperature for swimming and the room is warm too. Katherine was friendly and there if we needed. The rural setting is great to wake up to bird song and farm fields. Shrewsbury is just down the road and this was a great base for going there but being completely out of the bustle of the town in the evenings. Overall peaceful with a splash of luxury.

We had a wonderful weekend. Richard was a considerate host and very flexible when we were running late for check-in. The house and surrounding countryside were both beautiful and the pool was fantastic. We were a group of 4 couples, 4 infants, a toddler and a dog, so it could have been chaos. However, the whole stay was very easy and stress-free as all needs were met. The check-in was very thorough so we understood the quirks of the building. We would definitely stay again. Fantastic couple of nights for a birthday relaxing treat. Great to be able to book the spa and pool for 2 hours a day to have all to ourselves. Recommend the various treatments by Wida as well.
