Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Teddington

Ian's house is well-situated in a quiet area, yet minutes to Twickenham's high street with all the shops and restaurants. The nearby Radnor park was on our doorsteps and the Strawberry Hill house and gardens right off the back patio. The access to London was easy with a train station that was walking distance. The house itself was lovely, spacious, and free of clutter but also felt homely. It was exactly as shown in pictures; I felt as if we were staying in one of the houses featured in the home decorating magazines I get from the UK. : ) The bedroom at the top did get hot during the day but the fan helped and it would cool off at night; however, the temperatures were high when we were visiting (sometimes more than 30C). The kitchen was extremely well equipped and a pleasure to cook in. The back patio was a wonderful outdoor oasis. Ian was a great host and he provided detailed instructions and explanations of everything in the house. We would definitely stay here again.

What a fabulous couple of days we have had at Aimee's place! Aimee was wonderful to deal with, answering any questions in super quick time and so very friendly on meeting us. Such a unique place to stay - absolutely love the way Aimee has done her beautiful home up - we felt so comfy and so enjoyed the boat trips, visits from the gorgeous geese and swans, cats and meeting lovely Bob next door. We felt gutted that we only had a couple of days of our trip left - as would have loved to stay longer and explore more of the area. How lucky are we that Aimee shares her adorable place with us!!! Lydia and Will were welcoming from the moment we made our booking. We greatly appreciated their intentionally curated recommendations for our visit and their willingness to answer questions long before our visit. Teddington offered all we needed locally for a great stay and provided perfect access to all we wanted to see and do both locally, in London, Leicester, and more. Very much appreciated their willingness to share their home with us!

Excellent location close to Teddington High Street (with great facilities) but on a quiet street. Also handily placed for family who live nearby. David was an excellent host who quickly responded to any needs we had, crucially organising parking permits for two cars during our stay - note the street has resident parking only for 2 hours (10-12) each weekday. The house was in immaculate condition, very clean & with all the facilities we required including a small secluded back garden with comfortable seating - ideal for relaxing in on an evening with a glass of wine! We would certainly consider using David's house again if available & we needed similar accommodation.

Jeannette met us on our arrival, was very friendly and informative, and made sure we had plenty of provisions to make tea, coffee etc. The accommodation was clean and perfect for our stay.

We were absolutely blown away by the place! It felt like a little home away from home and Richard went above and beyond as a host! We always felt safe and comfortable. The place was beautiful and had everything we needed, although a few more kitchen utensils (smaller knives haha!) would be helpful. Everything was easy to use and truly, the place is stunning. I absolutely loved the place. The place is a 5 minute walk away from the train station that goes directly to London Waterloo in about 25 minutes, but the local high street has lots to offer in terms of food/drink. We got engaged on this trip and it felt so special being able to come back to such a beautiful and welcoming home. Richard was the perfect host - no question too silly! 1000000% recommend his place for your London trip! We would definitely be looking to stay again 🥰

Joanne was welcoming and helpful. The property was perfectly positioned for Hampton Court. There is a good selection of places to eat and drink. All, and the rail station, are in easy walking distance. The property is as described and very comfortable. Thank you Joanne for a comfortable stay.

We just returned from a most wonderful stay in Sammy's beautiful home! Everything is exactly as described, and more! Sammy's quaint home was a perfect peaceful retreat from which we were able to do everything we had planned - from exploring the neighboring royal burroughs to long days spent in Central London. Transport using the local bus and rail system was easy and close-by, and the near proximity to the river Thames made for lovely morning and evening walks. We were especially grateful for the well-equipped kitchen with plentiful modern appliances which made preparing meals at home wonderful! Both Surbiton and Kingston-upon-Thames are beautiful towns - both within walking distance of the flat. We feel so fortunate to have found this little gem, and to have met the most wonderful host! Sammy made everything easy with her warm and caring welcome. A genuine delight for our little family of 3!

Very happy with our stay. Bed was very comfortable and town is quite peaceful. Very walkable and a train ride from the city. Extremely close to Richmond for the Ted Lasso fans.

My Air BnB experience at Sacha’s apartment was excellent. It had a high quality kitchen, spotless bathroom, great lounge with clean new furniture & excellent WiFi, making it the perfect layout for food, relaxation and work. The bedroom and bathroom were very comfortable with clean linen and fresh towels provided. All of these amenities were supported by a very warm interaction with the host. It was an amazing experience in London delivered by a host who understands the need for a professional accommodation service with high quality fixtures and fittings. Sacha’s immaculate preparation and hard work resulted in minimal fuss for me during my stay and provided me with an exceptional accommodation experience - pitch perfect for a traveller on business.

This place was exactly what we needed. It actually has its own gate into trails that lead into Richmond park. Has a beautiful garden. It was peaceful and quiet. Peter and his lovely wife were very responsive to any of our questions and needs. Would definitely stay here again.

Joanne’s place was truly outstanding. Relocating from Australia to the UK was a big transition, and staying here made it feel effortless. The location is ideal. Just a short walk to the train station for easy trips into London, and the neighbourhood felt completely safe, even when walking home at night. The home itself is beautifully designed and incredibly cosy. The shower had excellent water pressure, the kitchen was a joy to cook in, and the afternoon sun pouring through the patio doors was such a highlight. Enjoying a quiet morning coffee out on the patio was a lovely ritual that made it feel like home. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, and the space was perfect for working from home. Joanne was a dream host. Warm, responsive, and genuinely kind. I couldn’t have asked for a better start to my UK chapter. Highly, highly recommend.

We loved staying at Beth’s flat in Twickenham! It was so nice to come back to a quiet place after spending the day in the hustle and bustle of London. Very short walk to the train station and easy to get into the city. The flat was clean and looks just like the photos. We felt right at home and would definitely stay again. We booked Polly’s place in St Margaret’s for my parents and their friends during their visit to London, and it was absolutely perfect! The apartment is in a fantastic location—tucked between two great pubs, lovely coffee shops, and a Tesco for daily essentials. It’s just a short walk to beautiful Marble Hill Park and the Thames Path, and Central London is easily accessible via train and tube. The apartment itself is well set up, with two spacious bedrooms each having their own bathroom and plenty of wardrobe space. The living area, kitchen, and outdoor patio are all comfortable and welcoming—ideal for relaxing after a day of sightseeing and exploring. The herb garden a bonus. Polly was a great host—very responsive, helpful, and flexible throughout the booking and stay. The apartment had everything needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
