Banks Valley Guest Ranch - 1 Bed/1Ba Guest house

Guest Cabin on top of a hill overlooking our working cattle ranch. The cabin is updated and clean and fully stocked with everything you need to spend one night or a whole month. The completely private space includes cable and internet as well as a washer and dryer. The 600 acre ranch has fishing ponds and hiking trails which our guests are welcome to enjoy. There are no events or parties allowed in the guest cabin. You are welcome to host your family for a BBQ or meal if they are local.

The kitchen is equipped with a small bar sink, double hot plate, toaster, microwave, coffee pot, kuerig, toaster oven, small fridge and cooking essentials. This unique place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. It is directly across the street from the park. A short walk or drive to the downtown activities and restaurants and other services in every direction. Also direct highway and turnpike access within a mile. The house is a traditional 1950s style home with very unique mid century and other eclectic furnishings. Every room has its own special features as well as a private library.

Our 1930s-era Beard Street house has been in the family for over 40 years. Located right in the heart of Shawnee, it’s close to OBU, St. Anthony Medical Center, Shawnee Expo Center, and all the restaurants and shops. We’re also just a 35-minute drive from Oklahoma City. Our house is cozy inside, with outside decks in both the front and back yards. We have off-street parking, a gas grill, WiFi, and other amenities to make your stay enjoyable.
