Tent holiday accommodation in Taunton Deane

The bell tents were lovely, very spacious with 5 beds inside and lots of lovely touches like tea lights and useful camping things you’d never think to bring. Thanks Nicky and the team for a lovely stay, highly recommended!

The quality of the accommodation is excellent and of a high standard, with the attention to detail plainly evident. We found all the essentials were supplied, tea, coffee, toiletries etc and a lovely touch. We are a family of six and found the quality of the beds, bedding, shower, towels, kitchen amenities, furnishings superb. The accommodation was roomy and comfortable even when it was chilly outside, with lots of heating options including a log burner to keep warm. Jono was on hand to check us in and give advice on local attractions. Thank you. This is an absolute gem and we had a wonderful stay. We hope to see you again. Jason & Denise

Absolutely fab weekend away! This place is such a unique experience and has great facilities, including comfy beds and sofas, pots and pans, games, table tennis, and cool boxes which makes a camping trip super easy for everyone. We will definitely be returning next year!

Linda and Gary are fabulous hosts at this beautiful and peaceful glamping site. From booking onwards Linda sent us lots of really useful information on what to pack and what to expect - really handy when packing for three kids! When we arrived Linda and Gary were there to greet us and show us around. The honesty shop set up is brilliant! The tents themselves are well equipped and nicely kitted out - the views are stunning. We loved the pizza night. Everything is very well organised and really thoughtfully done. The kids loved feeding the farm animals with Gary too. The other campers were also really friendly and there was a great atmosphere. Would love to visit again.

Fantastic place to stay in Somerset countryside whilst visiting friends. A stones throw away from Bruton and 10 min walk into Wincanton. Charlie and Paul were extremely helpful, friendly hosts and I had everything I needed for a very cosy, comfortable stay, with beautiful view across the meadow. Very tastefully styled and well equipped too. Charlie organised a yoga class in the big chill out tent for a few of us which was extra special and the hot tub was especially magical at nighttime under the stars.

Gemma’s Tipee tent was sublime and exactly what I needed after a big day on the bike (East Devon Trail). Having the outdoor fire really helped warm me up and on entering the tent for night time had fairy and table lights with a super warm & comfy bed 😌😴 Farmer David popped over to make sure I was settled in and again in the morning for a good chin whag cheers Dave 🍻 Even took a little plunge in the river Otter!!! 🦦 🙌

We had the most wonderful last minute get away! Lauren was an amazing host! Flexible check in we literally booked on a Thursday afternoon and had a confirmation of booking writhing 5 minutes and was on our way to the beautiful lodge! Well worth the 4 hour drive there! Thank you for an amazing stay we will 100% without a doubt be back!

A wonderfully wonderful place with amazing views over the hills with the sunset. A beautiful tent with a lovely bed, very comfortable. The kitchen is nicely located and equipped with every comfort. We will definitely come back and recommend it to everyone. Very welcoming family!

We stayed with a group of adults and children for the weekend. Nancy and Richard provided everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, bathroom, and for the kids and dogs. Met us on site, gave great local recommendations and were flexible with check in and out times. Nancy visited daily to stock up on ice packs and have a chat. We’ll be back in the not too distant future hopefully!

This was a return visit, to the back to basics in the magical woodland retreat. We love the remote location, with the dark skys and the nighttime creature noises, especially the owls calling out. Nigel and Erica are great host and had prepared everything for our arrival, and are very knowledgeable on the area which is fabulous when wanting to explore. The hot tub is ideal for a soak after a long walk. We will definitely be returning. Thank you til the next time 😊

This was our 4th visit over 4 consecutive years. We absolutely love Driftaway and would not change a thing about it. We very much look forward to visiting again! Liz and Nigel are fantastic hosts and nothing is ever too much trouble. We highly recommend this gorgeous little getaway! x♡x

Despite the bad weather, we have really enjoyed our stay. The tent was very clean and well equipped,which made the place a bit more like home. The electric blankets were extremely useful,kept us warm in the night.

Had a lovely one-night stopover in the bell tent on our way back from Cornwall. The setup was charming and very comfortable, with clean and well-maintained toilet and shower facilities. We received a warm welcome and communication was friendly and straightforward throughout. A peaceful and well-cared-for place—would happily stay again to explore the area further!

Loved our stay here. Secluded and proper escape from life. Every detail is covered and the tent was nice and cosy even on a fully wet night. Chris offered to check in early which was lovely. We even loved the loo which was quirky and cool. Fab end to the best weekend. Thanks Chris.

Stayed in the bell tent on Wendy’s land, beautiful views and very peaceful, we even saw some deer run through the field in the evening. The horses were lovely and we walked up to see the cows behind the field. Even though it stormed the first evening, it was very warm and cozy with the log burner going. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming was very nice of them to check up on our stay. We couldn’t figure out the stove, after ringing Wendy she helped us with it straight away. It was the perfect location to explore beautiful Dartmoor. We can’t wait to stay again.

Lovely tent in a perfect location for exploring Dartmoor. Despite the rain we had a fab time, really cosy to have the woodburner at night when the cloud set in. Only two tents in the field so almost feels like you've got the whole thing to yourself. Kitchen basic but very well equipped with all you need. Own private toilet/shower is great. Easy walk into Princetown with some great little cafes and pubs

We have just stayed a night in the bell tent, we had the most amazing time. The weather wasnt on our side at first, turned up in the pooring rain but was still greeted with a smile and driven upto the tent with our luggage. The farm and surroundings are beautiful, the tent was even better than i thought it would be. Seperate tent for cooking and another with a toilet and shower. The beds were so comfortable, the bedding smelt amazing too. We had a gorgeous evening, had some wine, food cooked on the fire, little music and stargazing. Was everything we wanted and more. Ginny has been wonderful, very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. The weather wasnt looking great for us so a refund was offered at short notice which we really appreciated. Luckily things all worked out perfectly. Had breakfast and a coffee sat out on the bench this morning listening to the wildlife and taking in the incredible views. I couldnt recommend the place enough. We wish we booked for longer
