Tent holiday accommodation in Somerset

The quality of the accommodation is excellent and of a high standard, with the attention to detail plainly evident. We found all the essentials were supplied, tea, coffee, toiletries etc and a lovely touch. We are a family of six and found the quality of the beds, bedding, shower, towels, kitchen amenities, furnishings superb. The accommodation was roomy and comfortable even when it was chilly outside, with lots of heating options including a log burner to keep warm. Jono was on hand to check us in and give advice on local attractions. Thank you. This is an absolute gem and we had a wonderful stay. We hope to see you again. Jason & Denise

Linda and Gary are fabulous hosts at this beautiful and peaceful glamping site. From booking onwards Linda sent us lots of really useful information on what to pack and what to expect - really handy when packing for three kids! When we arrived Linda and Gary were there to greet us and show us around. The honesty shop set up is brilliant! The tents themselves are well equipped and nicely kitted out - the views are stunning. We loved the pizza night. Everything is very well organised and really thoughtfully done. The kids loved feeding the farm animals with Gary too. The other campers were also really friendly and there was a great atmosphere. Would love to visit again.

We stayed with Simon & Sarah for a little family getaway after our wedding. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we stayed an extra night as we didn’t want to leave. So easy having the pub onsite for dinner and drinks, the kids loved the play bus and the goats! Would definitely recommend.

We absoloutely loved our stay in the Bell tent. Steve and Donna were so accommodating and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. Instructions on how to get there were very clear and the tent itself was cosy and very well decorated. We would definitely come back to stay again and explore the area some more!

We spent our August bank holiday at the Foxglove Bell Tent and had an amazing experience! The campsite was impeccably prepared, with fantastic bathrooms and a relaxing sauna session that we thoroughly enjoyed. The field had well-mowed paths leading to each camping area, which was especially helpful at night. The bell tent was fully equipped with firewood, cutlery, crockery, and all utensils, making outdoor cooking a pleasure. Philip is an outstanding host—very responsive, friendly, and helpful. It’s a great place for families as well! Everyone respected each other, and the campsite was pleasantly quiet. We highly recommend staying here!

Tam and Johnnie could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We had such a relaxing couple of nights in one of their bell tents Our bed was super comfy. You could not want for anything. Every evening Johnnie prepared our fire pit and left us plenty of wood to burn into the night. The bench by the river was a lovely tranquil spot although we did not see the otters and beavers that frequent that part of the river we did see a heron amongst other birds. We hope one day to go back. Rusty our border terrier had a wonderful mini break and really enjoyed the dog treats Tam and Johnnie had left for him.

We loved our stay in wells! The bell tent was secluded out of the way and was so cosy to stay in (even in the rain). We enjoyed having breakfast outside the tent every morning and cooking up a bbq in the evening with marshmallows on the fire pit. The bathroom and toilet area that we had to ourselves was perfect and it didn’t feel like we were camping with such nice facilities there. Lara and Casey are the loveliest couple! We had the warmest welcome and they made sure we had everything we needed and were on hand in case we needed anything at all. The location is so close to lots of lovely villages to explore and nearby pubs to walk to. We would 100% come back again!

Our stay at Darrell's tent was fantastic! Darrell was super helpful, and the staff were friendly and accommodating, even when we arrived late. The tent was in a beautiful wooded area, waking up to birds chirping was lovely. Cooking equipment was clean and new, and shared facilities were spotless. The only improvement needed is a more precise address, as it took us extra time to find the location. Overall, a great experience for our first tent stay!

Fantastic place to stay in Somerset countryside whilst visiting friends. A stones throw away from Bruton and 10 min walk into Wincanton. Charlie and Paul were extremely helpful, friendly hosts and I had everything I needed for a very cosy, comfortable stay, with beautiful view across the meadow. Very tastefully styled and well equipped too. Charlie organised a yoga class in the big chill out tent for a few of us which was extra special and the hot tub was especially magical at nighttime under the stars.

What a beautiful setting to relax and have fun with the children. We had a wonderful first night, unfortunately we had to cut our stay short due to personal reasons but we will definitely be staying again and have recommended to family and friends.

Camilla is wonderfully welcoming and puts you right at ease. Check-in is easy and Camilla is great at communicating. The space is easy to find and parking is great. Camilla goes the extra step - we were met with a big hug, a lovely private fire, and a tour of the space (including meeting the resident peacock). The space is beautiful, relaxing, and quiet. Everything has obviously been done with love. Super clean and has everything you need. You need to be happy with waking up with the surrounding nature and wrap up warm. We’ll definitely be back again.

Our stay was fantastic, so beautiful and peaceful, everything we needed and more, the hosts couldn’t do enough for you, only gripe was, we didn’t stay long enough 😐 we’ll definitely be back with our puggies.. thank you Sam and Matt ❤️❤️

Eve is the perfect host for the place. She made sure that our group feels welcomed and comfortable at all instances. The whole experience was superb. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this place is situated in a very quiet and a secluded location with some amazing views of the farm and the greens. Highly recommended for a group who just want to chill, relax and spend time away from the city. The place is just the same as it looks in the photos with all the amenities listed. Thank you so much Eve, for building up the amazing setup :)

The most perfect weekend in beautiful the countryside Nick was a fantastic host so knowledgeable about the local area and gave us some great recommendations The bell tent was perfect Great night sleeps bed is super comfortable Wood burner and candles make the most perfect evening Facilities as so well done Fresh towels and dressing gown when we arrived. We had a wonderful night's stay and wish we could have stayed for longer. Absolute bliss from the moment we got there: just the sounds of the birds and the rustle of the trees. Hoping to return again in the future (twice a year if the kids get their way as they lived the selection of games there to borrow). Attention to detail was second to none. Thankyou so much!!

We stayed with a group of adults and children for the weekend. Nancy and Richard provided everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, bathroom, and for the kids and dogs. Met us on site, gave great local recommendations and were flexible with check in and out times. Nancy visited daily to stock up on ice packs and have a chat. We’ll be back in the not too distant future hopefully!

Patrick is a super helpful and welcoming host and his glamping set up is perfect. The tents are stylish, spacious and comfortable and the location is secluded and stunning, with amazing views over the valley and only a few minutes walk to the river (great for swimming in hot weather) and the great local pub. Our children had a ball, there’s loads of space for them to throw a frisbee, kick a ball or go exploring in the woods and/or a swim in the river. I highly recommend Patrick’s beautiful little piece of Devon paradise and will be back again soon!
