We had a lovely week at Alpine Grove touring park. Clear communication from Keith. The space was very clean and had all facilities needed for our stay. Our toddler also really enjoyed the swimming pool! Would definitely stay again. Loved it

The shepherds hut was a lovely peaceful place to stay, it came equipped with everything we needed & was the Perfect break needed. Hot tub was lovely and bonus for the hut having its own bathroom. Decorated lovely nice & clean & overall great place to stay. Many thanks!

We had a fantastic night in a lovely spot! From arrival we were made to feel extremely welcome! Maxine and Rob were brilliant hosts and provided great recommendations. The cabin was amazing! Very comfortable, private and stocked with everything we could need for the night! The hot tub was clean and a great experience. We had a great time and couldn't have asked for anymore!

A lovely stay in gorgeous surrounds! The scenery is beautiful, and the silence at night makes for a truly restorative experience. For future visitors, it’s helpful to keep in mind that "off-grid" means limited refrigeration space—we initially brought more food than the mini fridge could accommodate. Since this is a working farm, there may be interactions with livestock, as we experienced when the neighboring sheep wandered into the meadow. For those with dogs unfamiliar with farm life, this might require some flexibility. However, Hadyn and Caroline went above and beyond to ensure our dog could enjoy the space—at one point even rounding up the sheep themselves! Their dedication made all the difference and added to the charm of this truly special retreat.

We had a wonderful stay at The Hoot! An absolutely beautiful spot nestled in the trees by one of the lakes, surrounded by nothing other than nature, if you're looking for peace and tranquility submerged in wildlife then this is for you. If you don't already have it, we recommend downloading the 'Merlin' app and learn about what you can hear, at one point it picked up 15 different birds!! The cabin and kitchen were clean and well equipped, hot tub and BBQ a bonus, and their BBQ pack is definitely worth ordering! Ellen and Chris were fantastic hosts, super responsive helpful and friendly - thank you for sharing your amazing home with us 🌿

Beautiful cabin and surroundings, private space. We only used the cabin as a stop off on our journey, so didn't really explore much although did a little walk along the canal and drove round surrounding villages which was a joy. Hot tub was clean, ready to use and perfect after driving many miles and recharged us for our continued journey the next day. Very comfortable bed! Would definitely stay here again and hopefully explore more of the area.

We had a really lovely couple of nights away in the cabin, it was perfect for 2 adults and our 1 child who enjoyed exploring the farm and animals. The location is idyllic, a peaceful spot to escape busy life, with everything you need, small but perfectly formed with great rustic details. We enjoyed the hot tub which was easy to use, and had a lovely day out at nearby Dunster and Dunster beach. The cabin gets the evening sun and we enjoyed a glass of wine with a view watching the rabbits!

This was one of the best stays I’ve had. The view was incredible and the hot tub was amazing! If you’re lucky enough to have the chance to book this place, I’d 100% recommend. The host is also amazing and very responsive. Location is also extremely private and peaceful. I’ll definitely be coming back! Thanks for having me!

Thank you Julie for a great stay, the site was lovely and so was your airbnb, I paid the £20 for the Clubhouse Wifi for a week, this was the only thing that wasn't great, the signal was quite poor and intermittent, but nothing to do with you! We will definitely return !! My husband enjoyed the cake and the proseco was very much appreciated by myself and my daughter . Thanks again Gill Bloxham

We (2 friends ) really enjoyed our first visit to this part of the world. Ideally situated close to Wells and Cheddar Gorge, there are lots of things to do, especially when the weather is great. We were extremely comfortable and everything was provided for an easy stay, being well though out - dishwasher, microwave, comfortable beds, decent shower and more. Arguably one of the best and most enjoyable bits of the stay was using the hot tub. It was relaxing and being inside with magnificent views was simply amazing. It was a great relax all round and we loved being next to the alpaca field and often they would come close to the pod. It really was a great long weekend break for us and Debbie, our host was friendly, kind and more with all instructions being clear and of great use to ensure that every point had been covered. We definitely would return !

Thank you for the most lovely break from 7th - 15th June 2025. The lodge was absolutely beautiful! Very clean, spacious and private. The pictures don’t do this place justice! It’s bigger than the pictures make it seem! The lodge is very well equipped too. Hosts are very responsive and friendly. Would recommend this lodge to anybody. Leah & Dan x

A beautiful rural cabin in Glastonbury. Everything you could need for a peaceful break. Only a 20-30 minute walk from the Tor, set in the countryside with incredible views and we were even visited by deer early in the morning. I just wish we'd stayed a little longer!

A great place to stay! Very clean and well appointed. Beautiful location and very peaceful. Hot tub was clean and very relaxing. Our host Carolyn was very friendly, helpful and responsive. Really couldn’t have asked for more!

We had a lovely relaxing stay based at Amy’s cabin. Her cabin was a great base to explore the Jurassic coast and also to enjoy the surrounding countryside. Amy was a great host and made us feel very welcome, my daughter also loved playing with her children when we arrived back to the cabin for the evening. Added bonus points for the very friendly pony and chickens. Would recommend this stay for anyone wanting to explore the area.

Just arrived home from a 5 night stay and can highly recommend this hidden gem. Judith was very welcoming and there for us if we needed anything. The accommodation, grounds, and heated pool were just perfect for a much needed wind down and chance to just relax and switch off from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. As a lone female with a 12 year old boy I felt very safe and my boy (who is neurodiverse) was able to relax in a new environment within a relatively short period of time due to the private and peaceful location. The surrounding area is beautiful if you want to venture out with lot's of walking opportunities. I have come away from this place with memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you Judith 🙂

I loved my stay at the Apothecary. It was a joy to be there in June with the roses in full bloom and be able to wander around the grounds, meet the donkeys, talk to the staff and enjoy the flowers. I'll definitely return.

We had the best time here! The location is so peaceful and beautiful... waking up to see deer in the meadow outside our window was a highlight. A big comfy bed made for a great night's sleep, and the nearby Mason Arms provided the best meal we've eaten in a long time with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We were also delighted with how accommodating our hosts were of our dog, who also enjoyed himself. Everyone we met including our hosts were lovely and friendly. There are some incredible walks a short drive away (and I'm sure plenty even nearer but we wanted to do some of the SW coastal path so did not explore the immediate vicinity). Cabin is so cute and comfy. All in all, a really enjoyable stay and no complaints :)

Conkers is absolutely beautiful, I cannot recommend it or Martin highly enough.

Would 100% recommend staying here , myself and my partner loved it 😍 everything was as described and the views from the hot tub was amazing. Scott and Laura were great at responding to messages as well :). Would definitely stay here again

Perfect spot, very friendly and helpful host. The pristine lodge has everything you could need and is a brief walk to Mere. Also nice of Richard to stock basics for breakfast, nice coffee etc - wasn't expecting that. I'm sure I'll stay again as it's perfect for visiting my brother in Mere.

Great place to stay in a beautiful setting. Nicely furnished and well-equipped, clean and comfortable, in a quiet location in beautiful countryside. Short drive (10 minutes) to Tiverton for shops / supermarket. Louise was easily contactable and an all-round great host.

we had a great time the caravan was so lovely had everything you needed the patio garden was great our little Jack Russel dog really settled we went for beautiful walks that's why I chose the place we will be booking again overall it 10 out of 10

We had a lovely relaxing time at the aptly named Hide. Private, with large secure paddock perfect to let the dogs run free. Sitting amongst the lovely Somerset landscape we enjoyed sitting out taking in the views and spotting the collection of wildlife inhabiting the area. Very relaxing. The property itself had everything needed with a nice large bath and shower, plenty of hot water and excellent heating/cooling options to ensure comfort whatever the weather. Would recommend and would stay again, especially with the dogs.
