A great little hideaway. Clean and simple apartment inside and then the marvelous covered balcony almost doubles the living space. Great restaurants and take aways nearby. Very luxurious to sit and eat at that private rooftop table. Good spaces for yoga and meditation inside or out.

A gorgeous gem of a place located a minute walk to the beach, yet tucked away from the hustle & bustle. This place really offered a sense of serenity nestled away… The apartment was spacious with an open plan kitchen, dining area, and veranda where you can sometimes see the kites flying, and was a great place to chill with friends. The dogs are adorable and made the place feel like home. With so many activities in Paje this place was a miracle find to be so central to all the tours and sports on the island 🏝️. Thank you 🙏

We stayed for 5 weeks (!) at Culture & Alessandra's place and we absolutely LOVED it. Although we booked another apartment, we were really happy with the one we got. The location is phenomenal, as it is literally less than 2 minutes walking to the beach. Yet it feels very private because the house is on a dead-end street. The apartment is simple, but fully equipped. We felt right at home. Alessandra is truly the very best and sweetest host you could wish for. She helped us a lot with renting a motorcycle, making restaurant reservations and even took us to the hospital when (unfortunately) needed. Their dog Bantu often walked with us to the beach or came to lay with us on the porch, so cozy! We did have some problems with the AC - we couldn't get the room cooler than 26 degrees and it often failed because of power cuts (a general electricity problem in Zanzibar). Funny enough, 5 weeks still felt too short, so we hope to come back and then we will definitely stay here again.

This is a fantastic place to stay! Saidi was excellent with communication. The area is fantastic to relax and he was so helpful with checkout and very reliable. My favorite stay in Zanzibar 😍

It's got all you need. Great host, great location, convenient. I'll be back.

Charles/ Paul ist super nett und hilfsbereit, einfach ein ganz freundlicher Mensch. Zurvorkommend, auch wenn die Unterhaltungen auf Englisch manchmal etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig waren, er hat immer geholfen, alles gemacht wie besprochen. Sehr respektvoll hilfsbereit. Danke für die Hilfe beim Umzug. einzig allein, der Pool war nicht begehbar, das war etwas schade für die Kinder. Ansonsten top für das Geld.

I enjoyed staying at Nana's, the location is close to restaurants and supermarkets, peaceful surroundings. The bed was super comfortable and also the pillows. The fans help with cool breezeif somehow hot. House was clean, organized, nicely decorated and it made me feel like at home 🏡 Shower water had good pressure and hot. The wifi connection was fast and stable, very good in case of work or watching movies in the big TV. I would recommend Nana's home and will book again when in Arusha. Ahsante sana!

I had a great time staying at Adams Place with my family. The location is perfect- easy to get into the town and up to the beaches and lots of stores and restaurants, very walkable. The ACs in the rooms worked great, and Adam made it easy to top up electricity when we needed it. There was a bit of an issue because there was only one set of keys but that seems like a pretty fixable problem. Overall, great stay!

모든것이 흠잡을곳이 없으나, 모스크 근처라 새벽에 소음이 많이 있으며, 비포장도로로 출입이 아주 불편합니다. 이것을 제외히면 아주좋은 숙소 입니다.

Fukuchani Inn is wonderful - the staff is pleasant, kind, and very willing to help with whatever you might need. Everyone was friendly and we had a wonderful stay. The Inn is right near the ocean, a quick little walk to a beautiful (albeit rocky) beach, and it's very close (about 15 mins) from Nungwi beach. And the pool is lovely! We stayed in the 2-bedroom Villa and it was perfect for my family, plenty of space and very clean. And of course I have to mention Daisy, the basset hound!! Such a friendly and good girl :) We would love to come back one day - overall, great stay :) Friendly reminder to travelers, Tanzania and Zanzibar often have power outages, and this includes A/C - but they only lasted a few mins each time, and the staff aims to provide as comfortable a stay as possible.

The hosts were really amazing and went out of their way to make our stay in Kijivu 1 in Njiro pleasant. They let us check in early and check out late- helped with a driver, were very responsive, etc. overall a great place to stay- we were there a month and were quite comfortable. The house is in a fairly busy area which makes it easy to walk to supermarket and some restaurants but it’s also a bit noisy at night on some weekends. We did get used to this as time went on. We will return!!!

We absolutely loved our weekend at David's place! It may hands down be our favourite spot in Zanzibar, where you are surrounded by a tropical jungle with a beautiful view of the ocean. The swimming pool was incredible. My husband and I, together with our kids had a great time! The chef, Ezekiel, and all of the supporting staff were amazing as well. They gave us just enough privacy but were somehow still there when we needed services. We rented the villa for my husband's birthday and so on day 1 we invited a few friends over. David and his team went above and beyond to make sure that our guests were well taken care of also.

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay! The accommodation was clean, modern, and had all the appliances we needed. We were looking for a quiet place and this was it. We basically had the pool to ourselves and Julie was on hand to answer our many questions at the onset. She even provided the first breakfast as well as a huge watermelon and bananas, which was much appreciated. The guards made us feel extra safe, even though it's a very safe area already, and sometimes we got a visit at the pool from the nearby cat or dog, which as animal people we loved. We will most certainly be returning! What a little paradise. (PS Being able to arrange a lift from and to the airport was also really handy.) Thank you so much for a beautiful work-cation/holiday!

Angella was very responsive, and teh housekeeper was avaialble through out our stay. She was even so kind as to take us to the market. I would definitely stay there again. The access road from the main road, though relatively short, was however very bad - that being the only negative aspect.

This is one of the best places I’ve stayed in on air bnb since being in Tanzania. Good value for the money. The decor is great, and location is convenient if you want to be close to the airport. Even outside the lodging is decent, with the complex itself being new. Overall great place

My sons and I had a wonderful stay! The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed to cook while we were there. Deborah was not in town, but her wonderful grandmother -who is also the cohost -was responsive and kind. The home was in a quiet neighborhood. We used bajajis for our mode of transportation while were there and were able to reach major shops within 10-20 minutes. One thing to note is that the home is part of a shared compound. It didn’t impact my stay too much, but for someone who is looking for a completely private stay this should be noted. Overall, we had a great experience and I’d definitely stay again! Wonderful experience in a beautifully well kept compound.

I really enjoyed staying at Leah’s place. Everything was as described: the apartment was very clean and nicely decorated, with a comfy bed and nice kitchen for cooking meals. The WiFi worked well for my online meetings. The area was green and peaceful, and people were very friendly. The location was perfect for me to visit my project. Be aware that it’s not actually in USA River. It is further down the road in Maji ya Chai village. There are small shops within walking distance. Leah is a lovely host and responded quickly and positively to any requests I had. I will definitely return to Leah’s place.

Mohu ubytování jen doporučit, od komunikace po rezervaci, přes odvoz z letiště až po přivítání a ubytování na apartmán, se vším jsme byli spokojeni. Rodinný apartmán poskytuje dostatek prostoru a vynikající vybavení pro vaření. Postele jsou velmi pohodlné a terasa skvěle uzpůsobená k odpočinku v soukromí díky vzrostlým nádherně kvetoucím keřům. Dále parádní byla velkorysá snídaně v ceně a 2 bazény, z nichž minimálně jeden z nich jsme měli kdykoliv jen pro sebe. Areál je velmi dobře udržovaný, bazény čisté a okolí apartmánů opečovávané. Na pláž je to asi 5 minut chůze a stejně tak na začátek vesnice, kde člověk může nakoupit vše, co potřebuje a navíc i při procházce pozorovat místní život. Moc děkujeme majitelům a celému personálu za skvělý pobyt.

wow!!! what a beautiful apartment. Dennis's place was absolutely amazing. We were there for our wedding anniversary for 2 weeks and Dennis met me and gave us a gift of a bottle of champagne. Anytime I had a question Dennis was extremely responsive in helping make this a very peaceful and lovely vacation. my husband and I had an amazing time and I will highly recommend Dennis place. It was very clean, looked like the pictures, and the art work and decorations were gorgeous. the only downside was that the apartment is on the 4th floor so...get ready for some exercise. Thanks for everything Dennis!

I am very thankful for the time I could spend at the embassy appartment. It was a very nice environment, the land lady was very helpful in everything and I am just looking forward to my next stay with the embassy appartment. The location is also nice and developping around, you can have nice local food next to you. The appartment was nice, it had also solar, what made it easy to work remote & the wireless was also enough strong. All in All very very happy and a little bit sad to leave. See you next time!
