I had the privilege of staying at Elle’s place for a day (I was transitioning between the Serengeti and my flight out of Kilimanjaro) was able to spend most of that time with her two lovely dogs and relaxing in her beautiful listing and garden. She had lots of helpful tips for things to do close by and a contact for a taxi should you need to travel out! I highly recommend her place and if you do stay, definitely give her puppies lots of love!!!

Beautiful, private, quiet. The perfect place to unplug and forget about everyday life for a while. There is plenty of space to freely unfold, whether you are into training and yoga, or would rather lie by the pool in either sun or shade. Beautiful views and complete garden.

Zanna’s was an absolutely amazing place. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was better than the pictures. All amenities were there and well maintained. The house truly feels like home. Zanna is super responsive and helpful. We absolutely loved dealing with her and we certainly would go back if we are back in Dar. 10/10 would recommend. Special mention - Dennis who was our chef for the period we stayed at Zanna’s. His food was fantastic and absolutely delicious. Plus we loved interacting with him and getting recommendations of where to go from him.

We loved staying at Gimstone's place. It's located in one of the safest neighborhoods in Dar es Salaam. We felt right at home right away. The building has great amenities, and it's a great community for children. It's also close to schools, beaches, malls, hospitals, and all things you need for a comfortable long term stay. We stayed for several months and loved our stay. Any issue we encountered was resolved once we brought it up. Will be staying here again when in Dar es Salaam.

The White Lily is an oasis of tranquillity, set just back from the beautiful waters of Kizimkazi and with a secluded hotel a very short walk away where we enjoyed evening drinks overlooking the sea and the sunset. The accommodation is very comfortable - simple but providing for all basic needs (good mattress, great shower, cooking facilities, and much-needed fans to keep the hot air moving at night). We were fortunate that the variable electricity worked most of the time with just brief intermittent interruptions. Although there’s no wifi, as made clear in the description, our Airalo eSIM worked well and the signal was strong enough for basic purposes outside the house; there was good wifi at the neighbouring hotels. The pool was truly lovely, with ‘just right’ water temperature for cooling off; perfect for sitting in whilst reading my waterproof kindle! Harriet and Peter were excellent hosts, providing great advice on restaurants and activities. The Safari Blue is unmissable!

We loved our stay at Carola & Mado's place! The villa was very clean and spacious with everything we needed to cook inside. There is a big balcony with sea views and nice breeze. We felt cool with the fans even though it was hot season. Carola was proactive and gave clear instructions. Salum was available on the property and responsive. Very easy communication. The beach is a 2 minute walk away and town is also a 2 minute walk away where you can buy basic groceries, water and snacks. There is also an affordable Italian resturant nearby that serves tasty pizzas! Our favorite part of the place was the pool surrounded by beautiful plants and trees. We will definitely stay here again when coming to Kiwengwa.

Exceptional stay at this magnificent villa in Paje! The place is spacious, clean and perfectly equipped, with a great pool. The host was incredibly kind, always available and attentive. A huge thank you for finding the object I had forgotten and crossed the island to bring it back to me, a rare gesture that testifies to his dedication. I would recommend this villa without a second thought

Najma was very responsive and helpful! She arranged our airport pick up and was even able to accommodate our late arrival. We had one problem with water pressure upon arrival which she was very responsive to & provided a quick solution. She also offered tours & recommendations for what to do in Zanzibar. Super super helpful! The space was bigger than it appeared in the photos and absolutely gorgeous. Air conditioning worked really well.

The solar house very quickly became our second home over the 7 months we stayed there. We were beyond thankful for Damian, Anna, and their precious children who were extremely kind, helpful, available and attentive. The solar house is an ideal location for families. Our two young children loved the home and the compound and it was within walking distance of their school. The solar house is a bright and welcoming home - and it has smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detector which are nearly non-existent in Mwanza! We highly recommend this house for short or long term stays. We hope very much to be back! Asante sana Damian, Sam & Ina!

Sekunda’s home is beautiful. House is very clean and the garden is a really nice touch. Location is safe and quiet, but the home is located on a pretty bumpy dirt road. Don’t let this put you off! Only other thing of note is the lack of AC. There is a ceiling fan in the living room and one portable fan in a bedroom. The other two bedrooms can get pretty hot at night.

Ernst is a very good gatsgeber . He responds immediately and always helps. Everything is very well organized. He has arranged the help on site very well. There is always a contact person there. Maybe think about an emergency power unit......The house is located directly on the beach , just a few steps to the sea. Absolutely quiet location. Thank you very much for the nice time there.

Second time having my parents stay at Peric’s for over a week! Great location, property is as described, and Peric is very responsive. Would definitely book again, highly recommend.

I’ve been to Dar es Salaam three times and this is my best staying experience of all. The house was private and spacious, very cozy for couples to stay. AC and 65-inches really help us when the weather outside is hot and we are lazy to go out. The owner gave us lots of help on the instructions and our demands. I think whenever i will come back again in Dar, i will check this place first and recommend to my friends. Thanks very much for the amazing living experience!

Shara and Jakob’s place is an oasis of peace and incredible value for money. They will help you with everything you could possibly need - from airport pickup to transfers and activities in the area. Also, Shara’s home cooked food is wonderful!

Eileen is friendly, communicative, and made our stay comfortable.

My partner and I enjoyed Careen’s place. It was exactly as photographed. Ayoub the house manager assisted us well and was mostly available when needed. Nevertheless, it was a pleasant and quiet stay.

We had a fantastic stay and felt right at home. The beds were super comfortable and the projector a big highlight for the kids. The staff was super friendly, and the host too. I highly recommend this place and hope it will be available next time I return to Arusha!

if you are looking for a cozy and warm place to call home, I highly recommend this listing. Alongside it's convenience to nearby Moshi Town City Center, it also boasts majestic views of Africa's tallest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro, Africas's tallest Mountain. The very hospitable owner Elizabeth and her son Albert made my stay exceptionally pleasant by remaining compassionately available throughout my stay. We really enjoyed our stay at Ingrid's place. The ability to walk out directly to the beach was incredible - as well as the night bed! It was very clean and the flexible check-in worked out very well for us as we were running a little late. Overall, great stay and well worth it.

Pepe’s place was great, and she was also a great host herself. We were traveling with 3 kids and the were well entertained within the house while we were in. The pool table in the house is also a great addition and was well utilized by us 😃. Pepe was always checking in to see if we needed anything, which was very nice of her. I would definitely recommend Pepe’s place.
