Amazing place! If you're looking for a calm stay away from the most touristic areas this is it. Lovely decorated and close to a perfectly empty beach. We really loved it, hope to be back soon. Can totally recommend this place especially for families.

We loved staying here! The accommodations are comfortable, peaceful and great for the price! The food is delicious and you’ll be stuffed full the entire time! I’ve been traveling and living around Tanzania for almost 8 years. I can say this is some of the best home cooked food I’ve ever had! If you are needing to stay near the airport, this is the best option!

The communication with Bagamoyo went smoothly, the accommodation is beautifully located and overall we were very happy with the booking. The garden is a dream and the breakfast exceeded all expectations. Very, very friendly staff at the Spice Villa. We would love to come back. Thank you for everything!

Kimte war unsere erste Unterkunft (von insgesamt 4 Unterkünften der 2-wöchigen Reise). Schon vor Ort hat es uns sehr gut gefallen und auch rückblickend war Kimte für uns die beste Unterkunft der Reise. Besonders toll war das gesamte Team, unser selbst gewählter Schlafplatz draußen im Hängebett, ein leckeres buntes Frühstück - unter anderem mit Brot und Saft, was woanders nicht immer der Fall war. Auch der Standort war für uns perfekt - etwas ruhiger vom sonst belebtem Strand, natürlich geblieben und dennoch mit bestem Platz mit Meerblick von der Bar aus. Auch rückwirkend positiv zu erwähnen: wir hatten immer Strom und Wasser, was woanders auch nicht immer der Fall war. Danke für den tollen Einstieg in unseren Urlaub und die schöne Zeit bei euch. Sollten wir eines Tages wieder nach Sansibar reisen, dann kommen wir auch wieder zu Kimte <3

Erg vriendelijke mensen. Het hostel zag er goed verzorgd en schoon uit. Het blijft natuurlijk iets basic met een joude douche en simpel ontbijtje, maar dat was ook precies wat ik verwachtte. Belangrijkste was dat het gewoon een erg fijne plek was

Sehr schöne und entspannte Anlage, wirklich tolle Atmosphäre. 2 min vom Strand, entspanntes & freundliches Personal. Safe, Wlan und Warmwasser vorhanden.

Gerald, sa famille et ses collaborateurs sont tous très sympathiques et accueillants. Tous ont été très à notre écoute pour organiser au mieux notre séjour. Nous avons passé 2 semaines inoubliables grâce à eux. Le logement construit par Gerald est formidable de créativité. Celui qu’il finit de construire sera extraordinaire ! Pour couronner le tout : la cuisine est délicieuse et variée.

Klein fein und hält was es verspricht. Was man vielleicht wissen sollte ist, dass die Fensterrahmen kein Glas haben und wenn es unten laut ist, dann auch im Zimmer. Das Personal war einfach Zucker und richtig höflich!

Excellent location for what we wanted, right in amongst the heart of the people … when we had an issue with WiFi Eric/Evans got onto it straight away and dealt with the problem … staff were polite, smiled a lot and were responsive to our needs … beds were comfortable and the mosquito netting was great … only issue was water but that is something you expect if you come to Dodoma, water pressure is low because of the scarcity of water so we just sucked that up as we had chosen to visit this city … overall … spot on thank you Eric/Evans

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten das Glück die ersten Tage alleine zu sein, wodurch wir die Stille am Abend sehr genossen haben. Shamza, Jackson und der Nachtwart sind wunderbare Menschen. Wir haben jeden Abend lecker gegessen und konnten mit all unseren Anliegen zu ihnen. Die Zimmer waren einfach und voll ausreichend. Betten sind gemütlich und das angenehme Klima am Abend bescherte uns erholsame Nächte.. Reisende sollten sich darauf einstellen, dass die Regierung den Strom häufiger für ein paar Stunden abstellt. Es wird also gemütlich am Abend und wenn die Unterkunft voll belegt ist, dann hört ihr die Zimmernachbarn schnattern und auch gerne mal schnarchen ;) Resümee: toller magischer Ort um mal durchzuatmen und mit dem Flow zu gehen. Great place to stay at! The host was super helpful and we loved the housekeeper he was super nice! The rooms were nice and AC was good! I’m a good location, a cute little village which we loved! Close to a private beach access which was amazing! The only thing was it was hard to find without locals, but the locals were super nice and helpful:)

Lugar tranquilo, cerca de la playa, con un buen restaurante a 200 metros, el anfitrión siempre estuvo presente y dio buenas recomendaciones!

Hilfsbereites und sehr freundliches Personal! Gemütliche Hütte mit tollem Ausblick aufs Meer mitten in der Natur. Mit gelegentlichen Stromausfällen muss man rechnen ;-). Handtücher und Bettwäsche werden alle 2 Tage gewechselt. Für Unternehmungen empfiehlt sich aufgrund der Lage ein Mietauto/Roller. Am Essen war meistens nichts zu beantstanden bzw. hat sich das Personal sehr bemüht und ist auch auf individuelle Wünsche (Vegetarier) eingegangen. Zum Frühstück gab es öfters eine andere, sehr leckere Saftkreation! Alles in allem sehr zum ruhigen Relaxen und Ausspannen zu empfehlen!

Die Wohnung ist wunderschön, besonders beeindruckend sind die großzügigen Zimmer. Jedes Zimmer verfügt über einen eigenen Balkon, auf dem man entspannt sitzen und die Natur sowie die Vögel in Ruhe beobachten kann. Außerdem durfte ich früher als geplant einchecken. Ich würde jederzeit gerne wieder hier übernachten

Très bon séjour à Aya beach. Vue magnifique depuis la piscine et le restaurant. Accessible à pied du village. Personnel réactif et très sympathique. Chambre très propre. Au top.

Eine wirklich süße Unterkunft. Die Besitzer sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Lage ist sehr ruhig und friedlich. Wir waren insgesamt 8 Tage hier zu Gast und haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Das Frühstück war jeden Tag anders, immer mit einem Teller frischem Obst und gutem Kaffee. Das Wasser in der Dusche ist etwas salzig aber nichts worüber man sich beschweren sollte. Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden und kommen gern wieder.

Chambre propre et spacieuse. Hanan était très accueillante et réactive. Nous avons passé un super séjour dans ce logement qui est au centre de Stone Town. Nous avons pu tout faire à pieds.

Jos is very welcoming and did her best to make us comfortable and was very responsive. Her place feels like home as it has an openness to it that makes you feel like you’re visiting a relative or old friend

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Raffaele et pourrions y retourner à l’avenir☀️ L’emplacement est parfait et Raffaele est un hôte sympa et accueillant. Une bonne adresse à recommander !

Quiet compound located just off a main road. Close enough drive to city center and beach areas. The rooms were perfectly cleaned and check in was easy. Very secure and the guard was kind enough to wash our car very thoroughly. Garden is spacious, good for kids to play and burn off some energy. Breakfast was tasty. Would stay again if in Tanga.

We had a good stay, apart from the mix up of the first four days, where we did not get the room we booked. Everything else is great, food drinks & service, would recommend everyone to stay there

I arrived just after the Kilimanjaro Marathon and Samson was kind enough to allow me to join him and his friends at the afterparty which was really an amazing experience of live music. Though I didn't go to the Materuni Waterfalls on his tour in the end, he did facilitate a guide for me and the coffee tour was a fantastic experience too. On the last day he took me on a bike tour of Rau forest where I was able to see several monkeys including blue monkeys, hear the calls of baboons and get a clear view of Kilimanjaro. If you want to climb Kilimanjaro for any length of time, I recommend booking on a group tour well in advance if you want something affordable. For the time I had of 2 days in Moshi, the activities were perfect.
