I enjoyed my time a little off the beaten path in the middle of the countryside! The property is like a small wonderful, green oasis and is very tastefully designed. Gianluca and the rest of the staff were very friendly and I immediately felt welcome and comfortable. Gianluca also gave me super helpful tips around Ahangama and was always easily accessible - a great host!

Great place, great service, very friendly and responsive crew. The villa was very well kept and the housekeeping services were a great addition. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Ahangama!!

Our room at Chandi's was amazing. We loved our stay at her place. Chandi is so kind. You'll feel right at home thanks to its discreet presence but always available if needed. Chandi cooks delicious breakfasts that I warmly recommend. Plus, the home overlooks a beautiful garden. If we return to the area, we will return to Chandi's place.

Fabulous stay! It's beautiful inside and out. The team is great, everyone is very kind and super responsive. The bedroom by the pool is separate from the rest of the house - this worked perfect for us as our pals had kids and they all had the run of the house. Breakfast was amazing. It went above and beyond our expectations. Genuinely thinking of booking again for the autumn.

This was an AMAZING stay. Jasin communicated quickly and shared location so we would find the place easily. We arrived a bit sooner and he immediatelly came and checked us in. Parking is just in front - perfect. The cottage is even more beautiful in person, iťs bigger. The outside area is amazing - your private access to the beach. We walked the beach, enjoyed the sound of the ocean. Simply georgeous. Jasin got us delicious soup for dinner and breakfast for the next days. Kitchen was well equipped. There were cool details - candles, rice cooker, nice lightning. Bed is big and comfy. Oh and there is outside shower and comfy sun beds. Totally totally recommend, i wish we stayed for longer.

my stay here was amazing, the apartment very nice and clean is surrounded by nature. I loved this thing. chaminda and his sons are very welcoming and helpful, they gave me several tips. there is also the possibility to rent the scooter with them and they picked up and organized the departure for me at the airport. I could also use the washing machine to do the laundry. I also had the opportunity to stay after the check out time which was very helpful for me. Thanks for your availability🙏🏻.i recommend it:)

Our stay here was comfortable and pleasant. The host was so kind and generous. Harshani even went out of her way to prepare breakfast and lunch for us which was delicious and homely. We felt right at home at the stay. The stay is 4mins walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The host was very responsive and the stay looks just like in the pictures -clean. Highly recommend this stay!

Where to start.. In my 10+ years on Airbnb, I have never come across a property like this. The hosts and their kids are just exquisite. They go above and beyond to make you feel at home and cater to your every need. The apartment is brand-new, super clean, and has all the amenities needed at the same time the lush jungle and green surroundings give a very tropical vibe. Working from home cannot be better, more peaceful, and private and with high-speed internet. The family loves to cook a meal for you, so you can keep on working or simply enjoy a relaxing stay. There is also the possibility to rent their scooter or tuk-tuk, make use of the laundry services and enjoy a yoga session on the rooftop deck. It's situated in the middle of the jungle, with monkeys and all kinds of lovely creatures. We love to surf, and with the beach just 5 mins scooter ride away, we felt like we had everything we could dream of. We will be back for sure!:) Thank you Nalaka and family for the wonderful stay!

I was searching for a place to establish a home base for my trip when Ann's property caught my attention. I was captivated by what it had to offer in the photos, so I booked it with great excitement. Ann was incredibly responsive and helped me plan my trip accurately by being flexible with my dates, ensuring I felt right at home from the very first day. When I arrived, I walked onto the balcony, which provided a serene view of the Ahangama ocean. The apartment was exactly what I wished for and more. It was very clean, tidy, and thoughtfully furnished. The apartment truly felt like a home, helping me unwind each day and wake up refreshed for the next. I would also like to extend a special thank you to Ann and her team, including Mane, for being exceptional hosts who always greeted me with a smile and provided thoughtful care. We had a fantastic stay at Vinu’s place in Hiriketiya! The family was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The location was peaceful and private, perfect for unwinding. One of the highlights was driving our own tuk-tuk up and down the charming little winding roads to get there—it added to the adventure! The hosts kindly let us park our tuk-tuk safely inside their gates at night, which we really appreciated. They also helped with laundry and, in a sweet and thoughtful gesture, gave small gifts to the kids when we said goodbye. Truly wonderful people and a great place to stay in Hiriketiya. Highly recommend!

We have stayed in around 180 Airbnbs and this is stand out one of the best! THE most fully equipped property we have ever come across, with all sorts of unexpected items such as mosquito repellent coils, filtered water, cooking oils and first aid kit! Eva and her manager, Tharush were amazingly friendly and accommodating. 5 star service and facilties to match! Can't recommend this place enough.

Amazing host and the space was extremely homely. It was picturesque and exactly as the photos advertised. The amenities were functional and the space in itself was well maintained and clean. It was an Eco-friendly abode. It was a calm and peaceful stay. A little away from the hustle and bustle but the distance to other restaurants and shops were pretty close by and walkable. Transportation was also easily available.

Very nice stay with this lovely family! They are very loving and truely cared about me. They made some food and shared it. Everything what I needed was there. Would highly recommend as a homestay.

I highly recommend Sanjayas place, it is in a quiet and beautiful area with its own private entrance, walking distance to the local restaurants and beaches. The room was perfect with a great terrace, Sanjaya and his family are wonderful. I hope to be back again.

Very worth for the price! Easy to walk to nearby beaches and cafes. Definitely hard to sleep in at all since the road gets quite loud with busses honking. The house is next to the forest/jungle so there are many small bugs like ants in the bathroom and sometimes the bedroom but it’s not so bad, just something to be aware of. The power went out a few times during our stay but apparently that’s pretty normal for this region especially if it is raining. Overall would still recommend for good location and price. Padma was able to do our laundry as well for a small fee

The place is great. bed is comfortable, kitchen well equipped and very well located. a few minutes walk to the main beach and 15 minutes to Secret Beach. Prabodi is incredibly kind and helpful, and very responsive. I would definitely stay here again.

The old chilli house really did feel like a home from home. In a great location Kris and his family were very warm and welcoming. Kris is a natural host and had contacts for anything we wanted to do. From Tuk Tuk and Scooter rides when needed to his amazing knowledge of the area. We were so lucky to experience this little slice of paradise. The old chilli house has beautiful rooms, with attention to small, homey details. Do not hesitate to book, it’s a popular airbnb for a reason!

Our stay couldn’t have been more amazing. The apartment is so beautiful and comfortable. It’s spotless clean, great kitchen facilities and ice cold AC. It’s located right in front of a little local beach where there is a lot of boats docked which is stunning for sunset. The locals around are all so friendly as well. Such quick and helpful communication from the host. Couldn’t recommend enough it’s an absolute steal for the price.
