Everything is perfect: highly recommended. If I had to go back to the area I would definitely stay here. Paddle boats always available, barbecue on the lake and comfortable house for 5. Natalia was very friendly.

My husband thought it was so lovely and homey at Sirpa's place that could always live there! Definitely worth the price! For once, a cozy Airbnb apartment with no miraculous Airbnb tunes, it was just a normal and beautiful apartment. Everything was perfect for us and the little dog, also calm and good jogging terrain. Sirpa was a flexible and friendly host.

Nice experience! Messaging with the host went smoothly, and check-in was successful so I got one-to-one guidance on the stay. The place is wonderfully peaceful and the opposite village sauna can be heard. The canoes were a lovely addition, but I didn't have time to use them. There's no convenience store and no services, so bring your own snacks. Otherwise, a great place to stay!

We enjoyed a long weekend in privacy with a beautiful cottage and the opening and sauna crowned the experience. Beautiful pristine nature around was also reassuring, and in the wintertime, there were no other cottages around, so we got the peace we needed at the cottage. Johanna was very friendly and proactive about our stay. We'd love to stay at the listing again.

Our stay was great! The sauna is very nice and the view is simply fantastic. A perfect place to enjoy the tranquility.

We stayed at the cabin for 1/2 week. Communication with the host was straightforward. The photos and other information describe the cabin well. The property is located around 6 km from the center of Kangasniemi and away. Directly from the cottage you can reach a recommended and marked forest path bike route from the tourist info (there is the plan), a nature trail for hiking can be found about 2-3 km south of the town center. For dance fans, the dance floor "Syvälahti" is a worthwhile destination on the weekend evenings. The instructions and notes in a folder in the cabin were helpful.

Very cozy cottage with no end of space: You can spend time in a spacious cottage, veranda, terrace, home, yard, beach, lake. From the yard sauna, a short walk to the beach, which, due to its depth and dark water, is not suitable for toddlers to swim. Beautifully decorated and put together that you wouldn't want to leave🙂.

The house was exactly what we were looking for: a cabin in the middle of the woods, in full contact with nature, perfect for admiring the lake area. We were right on a lake practically everything to ourselves, we also took a nice ride on the lake with the rowboat (there was also the engine but we didn't use it) and the sauna all to ourselves! Awesome!!! In the evening, eating outdoors in silence was wonderful. When we returned to the house we turned on the fireplace, beautiful. The children especially appreciated the darts and the pier on the lake. The house had all the comforts, even if the bathroom was external and organic: a hole with a bucket underneath, where you had to throw fertilizer between times, but it was all reported and it was also fun! The only problem was the cleanliness, because the house was not very clean, but so in the middle of the woods we could safely bear: we cleaned a little and adapted. In general, I highly recommend it!!

Cute cottage in an ideal setting. I was afraid of the cold at the end of October but the electric heaters worked very well! Comfortable sofa bed, just the toilet outside at this time of year is not necessarily convenient, but the view of the lake clears everything else!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this cottage! It was clean, spacious, and perfect for large groups. The place felt brand new, and the view of the lake was simply breathtaking. The BBQ area was the best we’ve ever had at a cottage, and we loved having a pool table to enjoy. The host was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The lake itself was large and beautiful, and rowing there was an unforgettable experience. The hot tub and sauna were also fantastic additions. Highly recommend!

The place is really nice and quiet, so we got to ourselves. Very good for a large group with space for everyone and things to do! Strong recommendation for hosts and the listing!

The reception was warm and we had a lovely weekend at the cottage. When we arrived, there was a cozy atmosphere – the candles were burning, the stove was heated, and the sauna was preheated. The cottage was very clean and cozy, and the surrounding nature offers stunning scenery and peace in the rush of everyday life. Special thanks also for the grill house, which made cooking easy and comfortable. The location of the cottage allowed easy excursions to Repovesi National Park, where we got to enjoy the beauty of nature. It's a place we definitely want to come back to.

Very clean and comfortable apartment, excellent sauna. The fenced-in backyard was great for our two dogs who enjoyed lying on the deck. Great location with lakefront right next door. I definitely recommend if there's a visit to Mäntyharju or nearby.

Our stay at Emmy's cottage was perfect. A wonderful place in a truly beautiful part of the world. The cottage had everything that you would want of a Finnish mökki holiday, and was the perfect base to explore Savonlinna and the whole Saimaa region. It made for a memorable experience. A perfect small mökki for a summer getaway! With a private access to the lake with sand, great sauna, barbecue spot and a beautiful forest with loads of blueberries and wind strawberries around. It's maybe better for someone with a car, because the closest grocery store is 6km away, and to get drinking water you have to boat 2 km, which was not a problem for us, but the boat and bikes at the property were not in the best state, but still usable. The house has everything you need, but is very small -- I feel like even though there are technically 3 sleeping places, 3 adults will use up all the oxygen at night ) but for 2 adults or 2+1 kid it's perfect. We felt very rested afterwards! There's also a very nice hiking trail nearby.

We spent a lovely cottage weekend enjoying the outdoors, swimming, and sauna. The stay was a short drive from services like a grocery store. There was a storm over the weekend and we were at the cottage for almost a day without electricity, but Markus handled it in the best way and without asking.

Even though the yard was small, it could fit 4 bigger cars. The place was super tidy, and the stay was a success for four. The fifth would have fit nicely.

Wonderful place, beautiful house with funny details. Nice environment with private beach. Spacious and comfortable house, perfect for family get together. Working kitchen, with enough of everything. It was an experience to stay here. The hosts great, I admire all the work they put in this unique place.

The place was really clean. There was access to all the necessary items and the opportunity to do laundry. The dog was noted, the yard was fenced, and the yard was accessible to a nice, lit bite path.
