Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. You will be staying in an apartment in our farmhouse. This also means that you may hear us walking stairs and that you can hear us walking over the first floor. The cottage is located in a relaxing area only 20 minutes from the beach, dunes and city center Alkmaar. Cottage on the water 58 is the ultimate place for families and nature and water lovers. Art & Tatra (Art of Lida and Cees cars)

Our B&B is located in the heart of Waarland, with Alkmaar, Schagen and Heerhugowaard within cycling distance. It is a guest house for 4 people, suitable for a family with older children. There is no train station in Waarland and in the evening there are no buses. Without a car, we may not be the right location. For stays longer than 5 days, a discount is given, but you have to take care of the breakfast yourself.

Shaving bridge between city and beach

The village of Schagerbrug is located in the Kop van Noord-Holland, in the municipality of Schagen. Around the village you will find an open polder landscape in which you can hike and bike excellently. Not far west of Schagerbrug is a beautiful dune area, the Zwanenwater, in which you can relax well. A beautiful beach walk is of course also possible! A visit to Den Helder or Alkmaar is also one of the options.
