To Sjusjøen cross-country skiing 8 km drive, to Hafjell/Hunderfossen Adventure Park 30 min, and Sjusjøen alpine for families only 10 min. Lillehammer city center 15 mins. Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. Here you can enjoy yourself with your loved ones in this family-friendly place. Located by itself, not in a cabin area. The nearest cabin area is Gamlestølen with alpine slope, cross-country ski trails and restaurant. Very nice hiking area both around the cabin and in Etnedal, Valdres. Here you can go both long and short walks, cycling. In winter, it is possible to go cross-country skiing. There are lots of blueberries right by the cabin. The cabin itself is very well equipped, has most of what you need for everyday life.

Here, free-range sheep roam from May to September, and with a little luck you can also see moose. From the cabin, there are paths to Høgkampen and Spåtind, and there is the option of dog sledding during winter. The surrounding lakes and rivers offer good fishing spots and there is also the possibility of horseback riding on Spåtind.
